square aspect ratio of ipads isn't really efficient. especially the larger ones are difficult to handle. you can't hold that wide thing in your hands and write on it while standing. samsung tablets have golden ratio, which is much better.

Microsoft may as well just ditch the entire Surface Laptop lineup altogether and just solely focus on the Surface Pro lineup.

Surface Pro is lot more laptop than tablet, Microsoft always marketing it in laptop mode (keyboard attached) it’s also too big for being as good tablet and way too heavy. Just like 12.9” iPad pro is more of laptop than tablet.

These are so great products already that there’s not much reason to upgrade in many years if something big grounbreaking thing doesn’t happen in tech.

...Ugh, you can do that on your phone. For anything that properly utilizes the GPU of the M2, i.e. production quality encoding and some basic AE, 1TB storage is the bare minimum, that's about enough for the raw footage of a short video in roughly...50 cuts(your other stuff need space on the drive too)? And if you don't do 4K, that is.

But anyway, this is a tablet. Surface Pro is a laptop.. without a keyboard. Each have their own specific use cases. But personally if i would look at desktop OS.. i would get a machine that already have keyboard attached.

There's no point giving the same SoC as the current MacBook laptop when it runs on what is essentially a glorified iOS for tablets. By contrast, the Surface Pro always run on a true desktop OS since day one. Since the 8th-gen model, you can even use eGPU with it.

You seemingly have a big pushback going on, non of these big guys don't like you it seems, you should watch out, they know and see everyone.

I'll keep my 11" Pro 2021 model for the longest. Not worth upgrading to the 2022 model.
