I nedd a tablet with the possibility of direct downloading of files (any type), but iPad only allows music, photos, video. Documents of any type are not supported.
Also MS Office works... how to describe it and be polite? Have no words for that.

I know there are legit uses for iPad Pro and there are people who will benefit from owning it.
I am not one of those and for me iPad Pro is just a laptop with extra steps. And at this price point, I rather just get laptop (that was true for old pros as well).
As for basic iPad, I used to recommend that, it was well priced for what it does and what is supposed to be used for. With price hike, I might change that stance.

I am a regular customer not a tech nerd person ok dweeb and you are talking garbage as usual because Tab S8 ultra has the same aspect ratio problem with some apps and you can change the ratio that's no excuse for an iPad pro that costs over a $1000 and simple app can't go full screen, please use proper English grammar if not be quiet.🤐 🙊🤡

I'm my opinion it is one of the most annoying gadgets out there. Too big to use with one hand, heavy, uncomfortable, black bars around videos because of the silly display format, difficult to hold, difficult to play games on, heavy af etc etc
Unless you are forced by your work, I really don't understand who would want one.

Bought a 2022 iPad Air, worse purchase I have ever made. I don’t know how people live with such a limited device with silly restrictions and the M1 chip isn’t used whatsoever. I should have bought a Mac Mini or something for the same price. Also the build quality was terrible. So glad I didn’t pay even more for an iPad Pro!

whether a Vanilla / Pro -
they are still low spec, which missing these basic phone/computing features:
1. Whatssap App Support
2. 5G but no Telephony App
3. Missing conventional Sim Messaging App
4. Doesnt have direct and easy Calculator.
sync is troublesome, and using more space with less efficiency and need more time and steps to do. Why not All in 1?
After all - it's just like a Lumia, a downsized Windows OS.
here iOS/iPadOS is downsized MacOS.

The Galaxy Tab S8 ultra is better than any iPad right now because android is not restricted like iPad os. Galaxy Tab S8 ultra you can change the apps that are not optimized to open full screen unlike on the Ipad you can't do that.YouTube app on Ipad os still shows black bars when watching a video but on Galaxy Tab S8 ultra the YouTube app is already optimized. The Ipad os app still needs a lot more work on app optimization than on the android tablet and that's a fact.🤡😂☺

If you check the redmi tab reviews they just proves what i say, they say negative about OS and how it's not optimized for big screen.

Unnecessarily worrying yourself to headache because of your love for things that you shouldn't love. Who says redmi can't last as long as an iPad??? iPad's has better update policy and i agree but the device itself can't be much stronger than a xiaomi device. Here's the thing. If you already have a good smartphone then forget the redmi and get the iPad. But if you need a good smartphone then do yourself a favor and get an f4 and a redmi tab. It's that simple.

Samsung has better screen, iPad has much better speakers ... and that's it.

They are so much behind, the tablet optimized app selection is very poor for Android, developers don't care Android tablets and never cared and the Android OS is not for big screen.
You would have got so much more for your money even when buying last year iPad or even year earlier and propably getting few years longer support.

I was planning to buy the new vanilla ipad. I saw the price of the 256GB model, and I bought the redmi pad instead.

Until the day comes when Apple put macOS on iPad Pro, Microsoft Surface Pro will still be my only choice. As for the new vanilla iPad, I do welcome the new USB-C port but not the 1st gen Apple Pencil. The fact that you have to get a $9 adapter to charge the Pencil is an outright ripoff. I rather just buy the 2021 and stick with Lightning.
