Leak: the Samsung Galaxy A54 will have a slightly larger battery

Not by much, though. It is starting to seem like the camera will be the big upgrade this generation.

you have to suffer, 21 Oct 2022exynos 9611 feels like a failed cpu. i have my little sist... moreDevices using 9611 have motherboard issues. My mother-in-law's A51 just suddenly went into bootloop. Did a hard reset and the phone worked normally for a few days before starting to go into bootloop again.

I did some research online and apparently bootloop is a pretty common issue for A51, M21 and M31. Replacing motherboard is the only real way to fix it and there is no guarantee the issue won't return after a while. Can't claim warranty for her phone because the issue 'conveniently' happened 2 months after warranty ended.

People here keep talking about Poco X3 Pro's motherboard issue. I would say Exynos 9611 is a bigger issue because millions of A51, M21 and M31 sold worldwide.

    The least they can do is give it 778+ or 7gen2, and a telephoto lens and I'm absolutely going to buy it, if they still going for Exynos (which is not that bad imo, just that i do play games sometimes and Exynos is very bad for gaming) im might just look for something else

The headphone jack returning would actually convince me to upgrade. I bought the A52s over the S20 FE mainly because of the headphone jack and I use the jack daily, so it was worth it.

        If they put a larger battery it usually means either an Exynos SoC, or some physical feature loss. Or both since this is Samsung...

          I almost bought the A53 until I saw the SoC it used 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ if only Snapdragon then I'll buy it.

            please bring back telephoto lens in a7x series. a72 had telephoto lens, in a73 it was changed into a crappy depth sensor.

                  i have my little sister tab s6 lite. same chipset as galaxy a51, and it wont display anything. it plays only sound, rebooting would do a thing. but in 2 hours it blacks out the entire display. the device is still under warranty i should do a replacement unit. because replacing the entire motherboard would cost half of the entire device. probably i got the defective unit or something

                        Speculation time. In a worst case scenario, A54 is still using Exynos 1280. Not impossible because Samsung did this before with the A50, A50s and A51 all using Exynos 9611.

                                I dont care what battery it will have but for fk sake, put a decent chip in it, we dont want dead on arrival SoC... There is nothing between sht and endgame processors in Samsung's phones. A Dim 8100 would be the perfect choice, but I guess it will have a crappy exynos or a 3 year old SD870. People would buy it like a candy if it had a good SoC, problem is they want to sell flagships for $1k+ so we will never see a good midrange Samsung.
