That M1 is not 4-5 times more than this one, so by math this is crushing the M1

I had good experience with Teclast tablets so I wont be suprised with this one.

Ra-Iri, 23 Oct 2022Pretty sure the catch here is that, it will not be upgraded... moreOS updates are nothing just a costly gimmick on a battery impact and disk space impact.
If a phone with 5 years of OS updates can last 7-10 years same can do phones with no OS updates.
Many especialy elderly people dont even know how to update their device and they dont care as long as it runs for a very long time. Because for those who lives from low pension cheaper is always better.
Like Oukitel RT2 best rugged tablet money can buy. 200 eur device but with specs and battery endurance not seen anywhere else.

Ra-Iri, 23 Oct 2022Pretty sure the catch here is that, it will not be upgraded... moreYep, but they do release some bug fix updates or occasional security patches. Also its easy to unlock bootloader unless there are devs who would create custom roms on it they can but most are picky & only focus on mainstream ones.

GSI's probably would work on them though, so theres that.

And I really don't care about that. I can use an Oreo version no prob.

I wish they made it slightly more expensive and gave it a proper chip to make everything else worth it :(

We would prefer bigger internal storage, instead of being forced to use slow cards. Sadly not oled screen, so that's about 30% off the battery. And I kind of don't know the performance of the soc. But I guess it beats the other ones for 100$.
