... moreThe "Pro" models are likely to cost €400 or maybe more. For that money a Dimensity 1080 is completely unacceptable. Should be the Dimensity 8100. They used 8100 on the €350 Poco X4 GT they can use it on the Redmi Note 12 Pro.
Also curved screen?? Have Xiaomi completely lost their minds??? No one likes them, even Samsung have finally accepted that
Samsung A series now offers way better value than Redmi

Oh FFS, nobody EVER wanted a curved display. More prone to breaking, cannot attach a foil to it, always full of dust and debris...
Just stop this nonsense already!

Curved screen is a no for me. Watching movie will always have those annoying top and bottom white lines which are lights reflected onto the curved side of the screen. Flat screen is much more easier to pry open than curved one. Screen side curved means less protection on both sides when dropped, because phone can only rely on rubbers at the top and bottom corners, excluding the side middle.

It's has been said again and again that curved screen is the worst. Even Samsung stopped producing it for S Vanilla and S Plus series. Xiaomi must be blind if they are bringing the curve screen to even Redmi Note series.

Dea... moreOnly time I've had a problem with curved screens is dropping the screen directly on to a corner of a table or something sharp which affects even flat screen phones. Also just throw a case on it if its a problem, most people do even with iPhones (flattest of phones) so this sounds more like a preference than an actual issue. (also curved screens will give you a bigger screen in a smaller form factor while being easier to hold but maybe you love huge bezels, who knows). Had curved screens for around 10 years now and the only time I've seen a curved screen break was when my partners kid smacked it off the corner of a metal table (it was an accident).
S6 was certainly NOT the 1st curved screen phone, LG had the LG g4 that had a physically curved body, you had the LG flex aswell a Korea only phone that had a self healing back pane and curved P-oled and samsung themselves had a curved amoled display phone like the flex that came out just before it (this was 2013 so s4 era).
Also don't iPhones cost stupid levels of money to get them repaired and again they are completely flat? (checked and it says for an iPhone 13 screen repair it's $279, not the pro or pro max, not iPhone 14 pro, the standard iPhone 13 which is last gen and iPhone X from 2017 is around the same price)

For me the best charging speed is 40W
Keep battery safe
Fast enough charging
And i dont like the idea people are already addicted to their phones
Then charging them in just 10min...

i dont like curve, the screen protector sheet always detached in the curve side.
And when im using curve phone, and the lamp or any light source is behind me,
the curve side reflects a straight line of light. Kinda bother movie i watch.

210W charging is a velcome addition to xiaomi phones.
Dear Apple, Samsung and Sony please learn from Xiaomi time is money and faster charging is better charging 25W will not cut it in 2022 / 2023.
Dear Xiaomi please do understand a simple and single fact despite curved screen looks good its slipepry fragile on sides and not many screen protectors works as they should.
Gluing a screen protector on a curved screen usualy ends in damaging and breaking screen protector because if one oushes not enough bubles wont go out from the edges, but if one pushes way too much it breaks screen protector on places where is curved which is a weak point.
In case of accidental drops curved glass is always a weak poit resulting in break.
Even a now very old Samsung S6 edge or S6 edge plus which was first phone with a curved screen cost way too much to repair.
Here in Slovakia new LCD plus touch screen for S6 edge cost 200 plus cost of repair works which is at least 250-300 euros. And thats a 2015 phone.
So once again pelase stop using and majking curved screens because they are fragile costly and just as bad as they could and should be.
