regarding comfort: The previous version was hurting my head like crazy. That headband is small and hard,my head is above average in size, after about an hour I would have massive pains, no idea how this design has remained unchanged. It was absolutely unbearable.

rrp, 24 Oct 2022how bad is the anc on momentum 4 compared to sony , i am pl... moreWhen there's no music playing, there's IMO very noticable difference. When music is playing, I only noticed few more sounds coming through. Regular office noise is still suppressed completely, but one colleague, who speaks very loudly, is a bit more distracting then he used to be with Sonys
Still much better than my old WF-1000XM3, but that's probably because of much better passive noise cancellation.
To me, it's worth it. The ANC performance difference is much smaller than sound quality difference.

for that price i want all possibl... moreTo think there are so dumb people out there who think that headphones need codecs built in it. Headphones dont need any of that. All the headphones need is good quality speaker and a good sound camber and thats it. Just like every other speaker.
You get your dolby sound out of even 100 years old speakers

Still those chunky headphones made my ears sweat and leather peels from headphones,i think earbuds in plastic and silicone are better.Also there are like Creative,Soundpeats,Audio-Technica that lasts from 15-20 hours on charge.So i dont need those 30 hours from big chunky headphones.

Anonymous, 24 Oct 2022This is the first time I've heard 600kbps on LDAC is h... moreSome Android phones allows you to select the bitrate for LDAC(Under developer settings). Select 600 or 900 kbps and just move around and you would find that audio gets cut.
If you stay close, then it is fine, otherwise, it is not stable. I tested on BT 4.2. I am not sure whether it is better on BT 5.0

DAC in headphones is only responsible for AQ inside the system of the headphones…

That is, unless you have forgotten to turn off some system wide EQ and use it for Bluetooth too.
