    Oneplus 8 launched with A10 will get A13 but not 7T....that doesn't fucking make sense.

Most of the ppl keep their phones for 3-4yrs before upgrading. Even mine OP7T is 3½yr old. So it make sense...that we should atleast get 3 OS update on flagship/upper miderange devices.

        Like 3 OS update for one device & 2 for another (Both Flagship).

Let's see about that, though I'm skeptical whether the last update will be quick and bugs free. Xiaomi is known to release last update exactly when the support ends, which give buggy experiences.

Literally all Android OEMs only give 2 years of updates at best (exception is Pixel and Samsung flagships). Besides, hardly any Android users have phones older than a year or two, so why should the OEMs like OnePlus support longer? You guys keep giving them money anyway.

              Oppo has even ruined the custom rom development on new oneplus phones by basically not releasing the msm tool and locking source code faking oppo. Oneplus 10 pro no development in the custom roms really sad it's nolonger appealing to geek fans anymore. I was considering buying Pixel 7 pro for custom rom support but will wait for pixel 8 pro with fast charging maybe or not at all next year. Or go with Motorola for custom rom support. 😤

                  There is no more oneplus. If you even bought their units, you would know how badly oppo ruined it.

                      So for example Oneplus 7T/Pro came out in October 2019 with OOS 10 android 10 and will die with OOS 12 android 12. Only 2 software updates for a flagship device? And then they ask why sales are going down and down. No wonder, leaving customers behind like this...

                        Of course, it looks like Color OS, but the name still exist. Is called Color OS only in China, as far as I know.
                        But, I don't get all this hate about Color OS/Oxygen OS. Is still one of the smoothest Android skins out there. Even arena was praising it, on recent OnePlus phones. Yes, is not the same like it was in first OnePlus phones, but I think is still more fluid than something like MiUi, or even One Ui (if we are talking about mid-range Samsung phones).
                        Personally, I am seriously thinking in selling my S21 FE and buy a OnePlus phone.

                              There's no such thing as oxygen os anymore.! Oppo has ruined it with their color codes in it.
