Not buying until they have a 20" 4K model available. Jk but does anyone remember the Samsung view series, wish they'd bring that back. What a multimedia machine a 20" tablet would be. Maybe not as portable. But still portable.

they are really trying to compete galaxy tab s8 ultra. which has almost the same size as average 15 inch laptops.

I think it's their way of adding a touch screen laptop. Although iPadOS is not same as macOS but if someone want big touch screen laptop in Apple ecosystem then iPad Pro is the only choice.

They've seen the Galaxy TabS8 Ultra gain some attraction because of the large screen size. This better runs on macOS with that huge screen size.

Bought a ThinkPad last year and it cost me around $900 and it is a far better product in terms of features, both, hardware and software wise. Who even will want a tablet for that price and it even lacks a keyboard which will be probably an another $500, because Apple. In all, $2200 for a tablet is just a waste of cash and I will much prefer a premium laptop over it

iPad with 16 inch display?? Better buy 24 inch touch screen monitor and plug it to your computer. That's a freaking huge for a tablet 🤦🏻♂️

Ipad pro with large storage + accessories like keyboard and other already costs more than macbook.
So waste of money.
Ipad air is best of them by far.

It won't eat up sales, since it's not running macos, also having just one type-c port, not the at least two of them, not to mention the absence of the headphone jack, which the macbooks still have (yet)
