This canceling support for 32 bits is only about ABI/libraries?

But mobile devices will be probably 60-100 years. We are complaining about using more that 16gb in a phone. 64bit will allow up to 16billion gb. But by that time, quantum computing may be handheld, hopefully sooner. But moving from 32bit is a must, it can only address 4gb, pretty pointless in todays tech world.

Most people in the comments acting smart probably don't even know what 32-bit or 64-bit even means.
Except some extremely rare people most dont even notice the difference. Its not like amoled vs lcd, which itself are the same for a lot of people.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2022Xiaomi still puts 32-bit Android on some of its new phones ... moreLow end devices usually use 32 bit as its less heavy than 64 bit. So having it as a feature instead of outright removing it is just regressing options.

Regular people who use ipads only to watch Netflix won't know nor care about the port. Most people only use it for charging.

Regarding the memory, yes, supporting 32-bit apps or supporting anything requires memory. As stated in the article, it's only about 150 MB.

Given how they go all out on chipset and its ridiculous bandwidth and compute power and then neglect port speed that costs cents and would interconnect to the chipset directly. Like I said, I don't know why they do this.
