Therefore, it is easier for Apple to prepare updates because the software does not have to be changed extensively to fit each model. samsung has a very wide range of models from entry-level phones to flagship phones. each model has a different CPU, camera, display and features.

Can someone explain why updates take so long on Samsung devices? I recently moved from iOS to android, and I've been impressed with almost everything else but the updates.

Samsung user, 31 Oct 2022What happened with your iphone xr? And why did you pick poc... moreNothing happened to my XR. I went with Poco X4 GT out of curiosity. It's capable Android that's pretty cheap and I wanted to try Dimensity phone for a while and D8100 is really good. Bought it just because I could for the time I'm waiting for Galaxy S23 to be released. If S23 won't be good it's possible I'll just stick with it. Because why not lol. Cheap and cheerful phones can be fun and functional and X4 GT is certainly it.

Rotate /auto rotate problem. When in portrait mode, phone shows screen in landscape. When in landscape picture is in portrait. I have to rotate phone to landscape, and disable auto rotate to be Abel to use phone in portrait mode. Many users have same issue. Samsung should stop making phones!, and people should stop buying. I pay 1000$ for half product
