    But that Samsung and Nokia that cool camera was a part of the phone.
    This going to be a separate modul just like Motorola with Motomods.
    It will hae awesome camera on its own plus extra camera mounted like a separate device added on a main device.

Also, Yongnuo has made an Android-powered M43 camera since 2019 with the latest model being the YN455 launched last year. An Indonesian tech YouTuber even played PUBG Mobile on it.

        4K HDR Night Mode video? Sounds tempting, count me in. It'll be a matter of time before its stepbrother Vivo give similar functionality to their flagship X90 and X90 Pro.

          Compared to mounted Leica lenses ona Xiaomi flagship this sounds like nothing special but compared to casual Samsung, Sony and Apple semi average camera this going to be a huge step for Oppo phones.

            IMX989 is 128,38 mm² (13,1 x 9,8mm)
            RX100 M3 is 116,16 mm² (13,2 x 8,8mm)

                    you have to suffer, 02 Nov 2022let the marisilicon chip do the over-processing the video t... moreYeah I've noticed a few inconsistencies with my find x5 cameras, sometimes it over produced shadows and sometimes sharpening. Telephoto is just awful tbh, ultrawide is actually pretty good and consistent now, specially after the android 13 update (seems to get colours better and shadow depth etc, same sensor as the main so very consistent between the 2 aswell). Personally I would only say the ultrawide is "flagship" vs other ultrawides, I don't rate the imx766 as a main sensor really. Have to say low light is one of the best I've used on the main and ultrawide vs others though (doesn't use night mode but produces well lit, clear images).

                      QhyQhy, 02 Nov 2022how come a 2023 high end smartphone not using the Snap 8 gen 2 ?I think it's for cost cutting on the base model (when their was the chip shortage crisis, I know it's getting better now)/giving an extra reason to get the pro model. Tbh the X5 with the 888 gets better battery endurance than the X5 pro with the 8 gen 1, most people don't really push their phones most of the time so saving a bit on last gen chip which will still perform everyday tasks the same but will give better battery is worth it. More companies including apple are doing it now so I'm still thinking chip production problems still.
