Hold on, £1,200/€1,200? How come it can be that expensive? Here in Malaysia, the Mate 50 Pro 8/256 costs MYR 4,499, which is the equivalent of £847/€972 at the time of this writing. Go for the Orange Vegan Leather Edition with 512GB internal storage, which is also available in my country, and it's the equivalent of £997/€1,144. It's way cheaper than how much Huawei UK and Huawei Germany charged for this phone.

you have to suffer, 02 Nov 2022tfw you realize that your phone is made in china.Almost everything is made in China not just phones, but why do you guys keep talking about like that's something important to deffend Chinese OEMs?
Made in ... and Designed in ... is not the same thing. But you guys seem to carry too much about where is made. It almost feels like you are trying to say all phones are actually Chinese because they are being made there. Are you trying to tell me that my Levi's or Adidas are actually Tailand or Vietnam brands because they are being made there?
I just want to know why do you guys keep talking about how almost every phone is made in China. What does it mean? Why is that so important?

If it's not South Korean, Japanese, American or Taiwanese, I'm not spending one euro cent on it.

Downloading 4g only 5MB/s vs 5G 30MB/s I don't want to go back .. It is same when u switch to 120hz screen after yeras and when you used to it and try back 60hz is awful tearing ..so no not going backwards 🤷♂️

I have switched to Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G ..I was using Huawei for years since P6 P7 (not P8 it was trash) P9 had Mate 7 in 2014 2015 great very good had P10 short time then switched to Mate 20 and quickly upgraded to Mate 20X 4G and then 20X 5G and here I stopped tried P30 pro and hated curved screen bad edges so sold it and stayed on Mate 20X until this summer. I even tried P40 great phone still 5G but small .. P40 Pro again rubbish curved screen ..
And now I have brand new Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G beautiful smartphone nice flat 5G 120hz fluent screen and cost me only £350 lads ... So use brain guys

even if you don't use google apps,you use google apps embedded in other apps like location services.not to mention NFC compatibility issues.besides,it is really a painful experience to download or update simple app via workaround galleries or apk links.they have very unreliable aftersales channels so,doesn't guarantee repair points or spare parts after a few years.besides,a made in china brand makes it worth less.s23 lineup is coming in 2 months.mate50 pro would not worth any more than €800-850.

- what functions this really heave for Europe ?
- 5 g doesn't work from where I am, we heave it but I don't see any faster service
- i still think that people don't want Google (America) to spy on them every time , yes every country who runs a phone software will do that, but so far only USA invaded other countries in the name of saviors.
- I'm sad is still expensive
- I'm sad Huawei didn't make it wow like i want them to be
- i like their wireless headset offer in the package, this should be offered every time not on the lunch time, for people who pay premium, if Huawei learn to respect them, more likely they will spread that to their family and friends, this people don't care or like free software subscriptions, they like objects.
- anyway ,love to play with one soon
- Huawei should invest in their software to bring futures that no-one has and than people will switch and they will force America to let them use 5g and even Google, but at that time there will be to late ,)
