The pricing is wrong especially considering missing GMS. Mocking around with Gspace isn't worth it at this price point. Played enough with GMS on my Mate 30 Pro 5G, prefer to not have such "experience".

Huawei is well known for unmatched durability and technological prowess. Even the competition is just catching up to my Mate 20 Pro from 2018, and people are still buying it online through AliExpress, etc.

The mark up in Europe on Chinese pricing is actually a lot lower than usual for Chinese branded flagships. Normally Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi charge in the region of 50% more but this one is less than 30% higher which means it's only really about 10% higher when you account for VAT at around 20%. Still expensive of course but all flagships are at launch price. Not having 5g doesn't make it any less expensive to manufacture

All the people crying here over Google.. keep in mind that the US have Huawei on the short list to remove their sanctions because without them there aren't any inovations taken place (that's what the US department of technology said)
so let's see you crying when the phone will cost 1500/1600 like any other
p.s I don't care about Google. Life is better without them

and to compare it properly, because the huawei mate 50 pro has 256gb for 1200€, the iphone 14 pro max 256gb version costs 380€ more.
at least this is the case in germany, don't know if other european countries have different prices.

why is literally everyone complaining about the price? you know any other smartphone brand (like apple, samsung, oppo, xiaomi etc.) which has lower starting prices for flagship phones? just for 5g and google you are crying? buy your iphone 14 pro max then, the 256gb version costs 1580€.
