He runs his companies mostly on engineers, and with many tech companies have been taking this too far with more HR employees than actual people doing work. If this is the case - this is a healthy thing for any company, not just twitter (which is ridiculous that it operates for 8 years with no profit yet they fed all this bureaucracy and amenities).

"Twitter frequently reports quarterly losses and has not returned a profit in eight of the past ten years." - how on earth does this work? How a company with 7k workers, free lunches, jumping castles, safe spaces etc... can work for 8 years with no profit? I would be the perfect CEO for such company, please hire me!

They do not need to have wine from a tap, a giant yoga room, special meeting pods, etc, but having them not used is more costly since they still need to keep it running and maintained.

Good but its more important who is getting fired. Those that have ideals against mine. Im just being real. Those in charge are allowing policy according to their values. This is a spiritual war.

it's funny bc advertising is proven to be a net neutral or net loss overall. it literally never works to bring profit

I hope he does not fire the employees who are for free speech. But the woke employees, well, Twitter would be a whole lot better without them.

A tech CEO that wants his employees to work full time in the office doing stuff they could do from home, which will also increase costs, sometimes his ego ends up working against him

I think Elon should get rid of blue checkmarks altogether. The internet was better before social media, back when everyone was anonymous. Back in the message board and forum days.

I mean look at this place. Obviously some comments below got out of hand but with a little moderation this place is civil and pleasant. You can talk badly about a phone and there won't be some demented fanboy looking to dox you and destroy your life over it. GSM arena is where it's at

Well poor people on the other hand they can always do better than work for a man obsessed with greed.
No matter how rich he will be in life he born naked and with nothing and he dies litterary naked and with nothing.
Not even a single penny he will take to afterlife so what he did was awfull and bad but among top 1000 richest persons in world noone is saint.

You need to tell Twitter to cut down on misinformation rather than hiding valuable, authentic news.

the second smartest thing he did after firing the all the overpriced "execs", but the smartest thing would be to not buy it at all, but hey, as long he is losing billions i'm happy!

Of course he bought it to earn revenue. He pumped a lot of money into it.
