Predictably, few will get the exotic Explorer edition model. However, the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Pro+ are shaping up to be a popular choice.

Samsung Note werent first also and Xiaomi did not copy they just borrow.
Thats something completely different.
Like samsung borrowed 200 Mpix from Motorola 30 edge ultra and xiaomi they ould also adopt 210W charging.

    I can't say I'm happy with this, the redmi note line up isn't the same as it used to be. But still, compared with the total bs other companies offer for the same price, this is fine. So they're still number one in their value for money game, software on the other hand is an other story.

        Similar like any polls about Sony, Asus, Pixel, BBK and now Xiaomi.

        All polls show high interest from its fans, but the number of sales always show otherwise and even xiaomi marketshare decreases compared to last years.

        The loyalty from those fans still not comparable with loyalty from Apple/Samsung fans.

They basically work with other companies to design and make all these products for them and then slap their logo on them. It's the same for most of their their phones. The vast majority of their phones are not designed or manufactured themselves. Other ODMs design and manufacture over 70% of their phones, nearly basically all Redmi models have outsourced design and manufacture. That keeps the costs down. Xiaomi has virtually no phone manufacturing facilities in China (just one factory in Beijing that can only produce 1 million phones a year). I think it's only been used for the mix line so far. They do design their own flagship Xiaomi seeies phones though and just outsource manufacture for those

Downloaded gcam and it also improves the nightshots slightly further for detail but it's not a huge difference (slightly more detail). I'd prefer the stock camera during the day. The poor video stabilisation is not a big concern for me because it can still be remedied with the use of a gimbal. Now, let see if the global version Pro+ will be the same as the China version.

                        Its not about xiaomi. Motorola or Lenovo also sells much better devices at their price point.
                        Its not about praising company but ab out not robbering the customers like Apple did with SE 2022 where 64GB model costed almost 500. Price for which brand like Xiaomi could sell a flagship grade device with a flagship grade specs.
                        Same can be said about Sony for example or even Samsung.
                        12 Note explorer for a 330. Genuinely same phone made by Samsung or Sony would cost at least 500-600 bucks.
                        But feel free to call it a boots licking.
                        I call it a good deal compared to a robbery on a customer by other brands.

                                Congratulation to Xiaomi.
                                Now, Xiaomi is the best brand to produce both the greatest flagship, the greatest midrange and the greatest budget phone pf 2022.
                                It will take a few more years fpr people to admit it. As it is not surprising for iPhone fan and Samsung fan to come out of their hypnotic state.

Quite long time ago. Back then, it was not like almost all phones have standard screen size like today's phones do.
                                        2) Xiaomi is known for using any (sometimes crazy) naming they want, so this particular case is the least to care about imho.
