                As you can see there Adreno 640 has better peak perfomance than 642 but in sustained perfomance 642 is better.

                Only Gaming phones like Rog phone II can sustain peak perfomance of sd 855,

                And those are flagship with better cooling, midrange like Poco X3 sustain like 60% of its perfomance unless you put custom rom and tweak it.

                  Omg, did sd 7gen1 really bad? Seem like every manufacture avoid it like coronavirus. I think Qualcomm need to cheaper it or it will obsolete very soon.

                    782G? Is it yet another OEM-exclusive custom chipset like Xiaomi did with the 678, 732G, and 860? The 678 only exist on the Redmi 10, the 732G only exist on the Poco X3/X3 NFC, and the 860 only exist on the Poco X3 Pro, that's it.

                            SD782G could be a typo or the SM7475 chip.

                              Anon95, 15 Nov 2022The 7 Gen 1 was only announcced in May, so I'm guessin... moreI assume it'll be a "plus" version of the Snapdragon 780G, which was essentially equal to the 855 in performance. So probably the 782 will be performing around 855+ to 860 level.

                              780G was only used once, on the Mi 11 Lite 5G phones, 778+ succeeded that, though much weaker.

                                  Also, MediaTek hasn't had a great reputation for chips up until this point.
