Nokia celebrates 2 million Lumia devices sold in China

With Chinese versions of the Luma 520 and 720 shortly to hit the market, Nokia is headed to a great Q1.

It's an achievement to sell 2 million Windows Phones in China. Microsoft, alone, can't sell that much phones if not for Nokia.

                  "We had an internal celebration some time back. An employee took some snapshots and uploaded to Sina Weibo. The pictures were deleted quite soon though. These pictures are genuine, however the '2 M 'live tile doesn't stand for '2 million' . I can't tell you what it stands for however. " Its nice to go checkout the source as well ;)

                    These Sales sound very encouraging since the asian market is nowadays more dominated by MacOs and android phones...For a new developed product in an old market...all Nokia need a great kudo...
                    now looking for innovations since the mobile industry is getting more and more saturated!

Still miss the versatility of my old Symbian phones but WP isn't that bad. The UI is fast, looks nice and hopefully will become more well-rounded as the OS matures. Keep innovating Nokia, your efforts are keeping the WP platform alive!
