too mainstream eh?
someone mentioned that Nokia is just focusing on the hardware improvements/innovation and Samsung more on software side. well yeah, but may I ask if that person cannot see the effort Nokia/MS are putting just to raise WP's standards? can't you think even one second that ANY OS can be used in Nokia's great hardware? even some of the Android fans want Android onboard a Nokia device. so what's the problem? who make things worst?----> Samsung fans.
So you're telling me Android is a powerful OS. yeah, of course, I guess so. too powerful that any device can't handle, even Samsung. don't get me wrong but i'm using Samsung S3 now and the experience? i'm really not happy at all because I'm also experiencing what the other users are experiencing right now at this very moment. very horrible. I want to buy another phone (thinking of a L920 or SXZ), but i'm still eager to wait for a couple of months until the rumored Nokia EOS comes out of its cave. and, my S3 is just 3months old so very stupid thing if I sell it off right away.
remember: too much is really not good.

You don't have to tend your phone daily because of stability issues.

This "Samsung copies apple" criticism should be dead already dude. It's really old now and its so boring! Samsung today has surpassed Apple in software and hardware developments at least over the last 3years and Apple declaring war against Samsung via litigation proves Apple is desperately afraid of the competition provoked by the rise of the Korean company. Especially with the release of the galaxy line of devices. (END OF RANT).

First there is a company named Apple which cannot take the competition with Samsung in the market with its so call innovations. Then Nokia also has lost most of its market to Samsung. No they both plan take it in the court. Well done Apple so called world most admired company and the so called most innovative.
And Nokia was the leader once upon a time but now its a sad story for Nokia.
And even if all say that Samsung copied from apple but the Samsung smart phones are not selling like hot cakes because it copied form Apple. The Samsung phones the Galaxy Series are competitive enough to take on Apple's Iphone in the market. So apple leave the court and try to innovate.

All you've mentioned here is nothing outstanding as long as its windows software running inside that device. Perhaps if it were android inside then maybe your lumia is worth a look in, sadly though the huge market share of samsung tells us people like the galaxy series devices by Samsung to your beloved lumia and its "great camera".
Besides all that you're bragging about is hardware developments on the lumia whereas Samsung has been focusing more on software improvements to devices with very powerful hardware. It's the user experience that counts & once you use a Samsung galaxy device you wont even consider another android oem let alone a different OS altogether.

Windows XP -> Vista -> 7 .. All have zero to no UI differences between them..All the same. basically a status bar below + a start button and some icons.
Yet people say nothing about it, because the improvement is in the programs. Same as iOS and its launcher.
Now Microsoft changes by release win8 and wp8, metro and with Nokia as a quality phone maker.
seriously fanboys are funny.. bash changes as well as bash if no changes.

Also there is super sensitive touch on the Lumia 920. You can use gloves on it and use a knife to play Fruit Ninja, try that on the ugly Samdung phones.
