AnonD-121136, 08 Mar 2013out of stuck? or maybe no one wants to retail a device that... moreit's your store, so you have the right to choose what mobile phones to sell. if you think Lumia will make your store bankrupt, i'm hands off. that's your own thinking. it is not the Lumias' fault I reckon. your own thoughts made me think that you're not a good businessman.
on my part, owning a mobile retailer means bringing customers the highest satisfaction, reliability and giving them a lot to choose from, not only giving them what they want. that's what makes a steady store competitive.

AnonD-31621, 08 Mar 2013FYI Nokia didn't manufacture too much L920, it's like "... moreout of stuck? or maybe no one wants to retail a device that no one is actually buying... i own a cellphone store and since ppl dont buy lumia i dont keep stocks of it if i do ill just lose money coz after a month nokia prices goes down like hot pancakes... stores like us sells what ppl demands always remember that we say out of stock coz we dont keep stock of non selling devices

Regedit, 08 Mar 2013Thats totally illogical of why anyone produces 'limited' st... moreand do you know what blew off the sales of WP7.5 Lumias? it's the announcement of WP8, it made people wait for it instead of buying the old ones. but as I have said, low-ends might still be selling right now.
you might want to watch out the newly-announced low and mid-range WP8 Lumias if you're after the Nokia's numbers.

Regedit, 08 Mar 2013Thats totally illogical of why anyone produces 'limited' st... moreif it's WP7.5/7.8, I reckon it's around 5m or MORE because I can remember that GSMarena stated that 4m Lumia devices have been sold throughout the Q4 of 2011 (correct me if i'm wrong please). it's 2013 now so I bet more low-end Lumia's still selling now.
the thing about L920? it's also a strategy of Nokia I guess. how could I say so? would you like to manufacture big numbers of a fresh new OS in a world dominated by Android and iOS? I don't think so. that's why I said, "limited-stock only phones" because it's the demand that controls the production, if you know what I mean.

i don't see how a company that leads in innovation can be defined as a copy cat. who invented the first super amoled screens? who suppliers the largest chips in the market? who has invented the first 8 core phone?

L920 is excellent in cold/snowy places where people have to use thick gloves or anything. where were you from? Africa? where people don't have to use gloves? okay. no offense mate.

dmakun, 08 Mar 2013Don't understand what you're saying. I said Samsung develop... morethat's what I've said also. the effort Nokia and MS are putting up so WP8 could catch up behind Android and iOS. WP8 is still young and fresh OS, it'll mature anytime soon. the thing is, we already have a great hardware, it's just that WP8 needs to mature more but as of now, so far so good. unlike Android, not all companies could provide good hardware for it so there are stability issues. And as you said, Samsung focuses more on the software side. so, is it just a one-sided affair? good software but NOT SO good hardware? think again mate. I am a Samsung user but somehow i'm not satisfied with it so don't take this negatively. i'm just stating my opinion.
this is really off-topic. >:)

Anonymous, 08 Mar 2013I will take super sensitive touch screen over eyeball scrol... moreYou can keep the super sensitivity to yourself and slice all the fruit you want on it with a swiss army knife or anything. Don't get butt hurt when you see others slicing it just by looking at it. Also those people won't have to take the gloves or even have to touch.
Atleast Samsung are making smartphones while somebody is making brickphones with fancy colours for a 5 year old.

btw, what about other lumia devices, are they selling in huge volumes.. err we all know they dont cross the 4-5 mill mark. i am generous to quote 4-5 mill, in reality its even lesser.

AnonD-31621, 08 Mar 2013too mainstream eh?
someone mentioned that Nokia is just... moreDon't understand what you're saying. I said Samsung develops great software for their galaxy line compared to other android oem and this I'm saying from experience. I've used htc, lg and sony android devices (no Motorola's) and Samsung tops them in sales/market share for a reason.
Now as regards window8 mobile devices, the software isn't bad but they are still in development and I'd have to give them time to improve on a few things before i buy them and its more than likely to be one made by nokia or maybe samsung. However what annoys me though is when i read people comparing any Window8 device to a android flagship device today! It just does not compare because the versatility of Google's android is years ahead (for now).

Now since you you have the luxury of time, go and exercise your eye ball "sc-rolling" skills cos nokia will be introducing it to your beloved lumia in some years time.
