I used to like how low to mid-end Motorolas, Samsungs, LGs and SE Walkman/Cybershot feature phones could multitask better than N or E-Series. I used Motorola V360, V3i, Samsung D500, SE W200 & K800 Cybershot since 2005 which were years ahead of the dumb 3G Nokia 6234 I bought in May 2008. My 1st true smartphone was the Samsung I900 Omnia running WinMo 6.1 which is still superb even now, passed it on to my lil bro after buying a crappy SE Xperia X10i Mini with a non-removable battery in 2011. Thanks God m writting this comment with my good old Samsung Galaxy Ace.

Maybe when you graduate, get an actual job in the real world and understand how business works you'll understand more. You'll definitely understand why a 20 minute youtube video with some guy who needs to shave will be laughed at as proof of anything substantial. Of course, if you want to synthesize what you learned from the video and form an argument highlighting the points you deem important then we can talk. Just regurgitating a video link from an obviously biases source proves nothing.
Also, are you sure you're not a kindergarten student? The name calling screams juvenile.

There has been no real major software advances in Android from the beginning - it still does the basic job for 95% of users regardless of these so called wonderful upgrades, and of course Samsung is the best hardware manufacturer to exploit is parts bin. Really I dont see anything remarkable or extra useful about the SIV based on publicity - why bother to buy it.

Don't take it so personal guys, it's just business.
Samsung is too ugly by the way, i never liked samsung phones, i'm a Nokia fan, but i feel grateful to Samsung for giving us in abundance what Nokia or Apple would traditionally give by dropper. The agressive Samsung forced technology go ahead quicker and caused lots of headache to the competitors making them work more to offer more for less than they normally would.
Even if low quality cheap plastic, thanks anyway!

You all know this is because the Galaxy IV is a being released soon and they are all terrified by Samsung's domination of the market, right? I think they should be, even Google is getting worried. I'm a Galaxy III user and I am worried. I don't think it's healthy for the market actually, I think the iPhone and the Lumia and whatever else need to compete closely with one another to benefit innovation and industry and ultimately the consumer. BUT, all these law suits are so damn childish, I mean, we're talking about global corporations acting like school children!

This is really a suicide game again after making a terrible wrong decision to team up with Microsoft for Windows phone.

Well,Nokias golden age is over with death of symbian and after that maemo(which could be good).Only good phones were S60 phones and some S40 phones.I had so many s40 nokias and each of these had software problem,not to mention creen and camera quallity.When Nokia was making 4096 colour screen,samsung had 65000 coulour screen on their entry level phones.Not to mention quality of built of samsung compared to nokia.Only S60 was good thing.And nokia was the winner thanks to the big number of sold cheap entry level phones like 3310,1100 or 6610.Regarding Apple vs Samsung,how about comparing IPHONE to chinese IFONE or other clones,and no word about suing these companies or manufacturers for copying iphone?And there are so many copy-cats all around us.Now,when there is a fear for position on mobile market and fear of being second or third place,lets join our forces. Funny,really,this is all about money,power and market control.
