It's not the longest zoom, but the sensors are pretty wide, so you can shoot quality photos on every focal length. Well done Vivo. This is a phone for real photo enthusiasts!

Guess why samsung reduced sensor size after moving to 240/230mm.
Guess why huawei had 1/4.5" when using 240mm.
It is called " limitation of space available and costs of implementation".

Not sure what's the catch with the zooms on this one is.
One zoom is 2.17x and the other is a 3.9x. They could have had a 3x and a 7x zoom instead.
The new pixel has the perfect single zoom with a 5x zoom. Smartphone makers should follow the 3x50MP sensor formula for premium mid rangers with bright lenses. Those could easily improve the zooming experience from ultrawide to 10x zoom.

I wish Samsung would make a phone like this, the phone is an absolute beast, as are a lot of Chinese phones currently, far better then what we in the west are getting, shame it wont be a global roll out, I have no idea what the software is like on these chinese phones but if it could produced to be stock android man that thing would be serious hardware
