Not a fan of the current design, but since I keep any phone in a case, I don't really care much about the exterior design.

Daemon Targaryen, 21 Nov 2022 -Touch ID more convenient in darkness -Touch ID more ... moreYeah, that's definitely not true at all, in hot climates you have sweaty hands and touchID starts messing up more than faceid, also darkness? Never had a single problem with it since the screen illluminates your face and faceid uses IR sensors. Closing apps accidentally? Sounds like a you problem because no one else has such issues or else it would have been fixed. Why would you even swipe near the bottom of the screen while typing? If you're using swipe typing you have nowhere to be near the bottom of the screen. All those non face ID/touch ID related issues that you mentioned can be attributed to you having large hands/thick fingers and using an iphone 12 mini which is a really small phone. Using the 11 pro for the last 3 years I've had none of those issues except face id while using a facemask but that also would never be an issue if it weren't for covid. Used an iphone se before that and thought I would be devastated by faceid, however in everyday usage I have been completely convinced it's better and more secure that touchid.

Personally, I hope no rounded back and front, not now, it is better to have the next iPhone has no bezel at all.

Rosso, 21 Nov 2022Golf is a tool, it's a vehicle to get you from point A... moreNo. iPhone is the highest selling smart phone in US easily. Most Americans are buying iPhones. Most Americans are NOT buying those expensive cars because they're out of their price range. The iPhone is more like the car that's a bit more expensive than average, but it's worth it for the quality. Sounds a bit like a Golf. (At European prices anyway)

-Touch ID more convenient in darkness
-Touch ID more convenient for Apple Pay
-Touch ID is like 95% register all day
-Touch ID more convenient in warm climates
-Gesture can get in the way using apps
-Swipe up can close my texting app
-Prefer Control Center from bottom
-Can see my battery % clearer without a notch
I've been offered from AT&T to get an iPhone 12 mini for $1 per month for the next 36 months if I sign up for an unlimited plan. No thank you. Sold my 12 mini and zero regrets.
I really hated when I would type and it would accidentally close because the space bar is right above the gesture line. Certain games require a swipe up gesture. And my Pixel 3 took better photos than the 12 mini.
I guess iPhone SE 3 will be the last to have Touch ID, home button, and sim tray to avoid that e-sim nonsense when you want to switch between phones a lot. Apple will not bring back a fingerprint security in the foreseeable future. The SE 3 is truly a Special Edition.
The SE 4 will give us more overrated bezel-less crap. More inconvenience with Face ID that you end up inputting your passcode more than half of the time. More inconvenience using a swipe up gesture which can accidentally close apps. A notch that will get in the way viewing content or a simple battery %.
Love my iPhone SE 2022. The last great iPhone before more brainless sheeple think Face ID, touch gestures, a hideous notch, and e-sim only is actually better for us when they aren't and never will be.
