Motorola Moto G82 in for review

27 November 2022
The phone borrows the Moto G62 body, but brings a mightier Snapdragon chipset.

aran perumal, 27 Nov 2022I bought this Motorola just after two month using Poco X3 P... moreAnother thing to add is since Motorola only giving 1 OS and security updates of 2 years to the G82, I don't think you can securely use the G82 for 5 years like you planned to do. Latest security updates is a must if you want to use Google Wallet with peace of mind. Trust me, you don't want to go around making contactless payments with 2 years outdated security patch.

aran perumal, 27 Nov 2022I bought this Motorola just after two month using Poco X3 P... moreI guess shouldn't tell you that Motorola is owned by Lenovo, a Chinese company. Oops, I just did but that's a good thing so you don't make ignorant comments anymore

aran perumal, 27 Nov 2022I bought this Motorola just after two month using Poco X3 P... moreMotorola is own by Lenovo which is the parent company, but motorola still do it's own decisions in manufacturing, even so it still has influence in Motorola

zaryan, 27 Nov 2022but camera quality is crap on g82 so don't expect much... moreSame applies to most (if not all) modern phones. Camera quality got lowered in latest years. Every picture I take with Galaxy A52s 5G is looking like painting. It doesn't look soft and natural. At least if there was an option to disable it or shoot in RAW.

Anders, 27 Nov 2022No more reviews for phones that cost over €250 but don'... moreNot defending any phones that don't support 4K recording but it's definitely useless when watching on the phone display or 4K TVs (because we don't stay about 1 feet close to the display), and the fact that every single social media app caps every video between HD and FHD

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2022moto has been making some good devices lately. Do the G72 n... morebut camera quality is crap on g82 so don't expect much these high megapixel doesn't mean great quality

We need a mid range chip + decent camera + good battery life.
Moto edge 30 with good battery life.

I bought this Motorola just after two month using Poco X3 Pro, which that Poco just died like that on me without no solid reason. I get mad and tired using a stupid China phone lastly I ended up with this afordable RM1,199 and I got discount RM200.00 = RM999.00 only. Compare to last few other phone I used like OnePlus3t and Poco X3 Pro, this phone feel solid, smooth, light weight, got 33watt fast changer, earphone, casing. My country Malaysia is on the track to upgrade 5G infrastructure here, gladly I can use 5G without no hiccup. Later on my country oso support google Wallet , that also I can use with out hiccup as well since this phone got NFC. I wish I can use this phone for another 5 years else I can ask more. I wish by the time come i can find new battery for it.

Oh yes for back side i install clearplex series skin for RM40.00

this phone is great everywhere except camera even tho it has ois the photo quality (not judging the video because I don't take videos) is kind of crap and disappointing

moto has been making some good devices lately. Do the G72 next which comes with a 108 mp cam

                        Realme 10 Pro+ is better.

Interesting to compare this to "over-priced" Nokia

I had this phone since July and I'm really happy with it so far. The budget market in Norway isn't that big so there was no Poco, Realme or Vivo i could buy. So this ended up being the cheapest phone with 3.5mm jack and done other requirements. The audio jack and Android 12 were my most important requiremenst and only the Nord CE 2 Lite and this phone in the budget sector fulfilled that.

No more reviews for phones that cost over €250 but don't support 4k video recording please 👍👍
