The iPhone SE 1 is outdated.

    I just bought a Sony WH-1000XM4 for $130 brand new and sealed from OfferUp. They're wonderful. I'll probably pick up a Bose QC35 II as a backup because I hear they're more comfortable.

    I didn't realize they came with a 3.5 mm jack. So even the XM4's battery becomes completely dead in a few years, I can still use them as wired headphones just without the ANC, mic, and touch gesture controls. This is why I plan to keep my iPhone SE1 for life.

    Headphone jack really becomes more important once these headphones die from their battery. Planning to get a $60 iPhone 6S tomorrow in excellent condition but only 80% battery health just for that headphone jack.

    Wired sound with XM4 turned off doesn't sound bad at all. It's serviceable. Headphone jack adds another option to the user and can prolong the life of these wireless headphones.

      What is better if I don't want to spend so much money? Q30? Wh ch710n? Or Q20+?

        Already have bose 700 and MTH50X for free.
