Anonymous, 08 Mar 2013Wireless charging has been in talks for years and years. No... moreNokia first officially released it with their product... they didn't "perfect" it. lol
The "perfecting" job is for the small companies that develop it for the bigger companies to buy. Let's give credit where it's due; those small companies need attention too.

Wireless charging has been in talks for years and years. Nobody knows who the first person was to come up with this innovative idea. The first company that perfected it, Nokia, as far is I know, should get exlusiveness to this for a certain amount of time, then it should be standard... But what will happen is that Apple will troll this idea like always and then sue everybody... garbage company...

Will only be a cosmetic ad on if wireless charging takes longer than by usb. The reason i believe phone makers have been reluctant to use the technology so far.

Wireless charging has been around for over 100 years actually :). Still, IMHO it is still mostly useless.

So will apple sue nokia for using wireless charging once the patent is approved?
I wanna see infra red solar charging, everthing above abslute zero emits I/R energy so a solar panel that can charge a phone from this means you can use all the features of your phone constantly and you'll never have to charge again/constantly be charging depending on how you look at it...... That would be innovation.
