The 12s and 12s pro were released in June about 6 months after the 12 and 12 pro so it's about 6 months since the last model. Hopefully, that will be a once off though due to the poor snapdragon 8 gen 1 chip

    The Xiaomi 12 series looked interesting and unique, now the 13 is a clone of the iPhone 14
    It's such a shame how the Chinese can come up with good ideas but then decide to go the easy way copying Apple and ruining everything unique that they had
    Apple will Inadvertently cause the fall of so many companies...

      Flat screen, size of screen and other specs are great. However, notch or water drop or round circle for the selfie camera looks ugly. I would even dispense with the selfie camera to have a clean screen. The pop up camera a(s it was with Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro) was better solution than this.

Xiaomi 13 is a mainline flagship phone from Xiaomi. As I remember, Xiaomi 12 released December last year in China and Globally Early this year.

Even is the smartphone manufacturers managed to get 0 mm bezels, you could still fit a case on the phone. Any due to the thickness of the case, you would add bezels in the form of the case's thickness.

Thing is, most phones that were launched with Android 12 will only get Android 13 updates months later and some will only get MIUI 14 while remaining stuck on Android 12 or even 11. I really hate Xiaomi for this and it seems they won't fix it anytime soon, especially not on lower tier than their main model. Samsung in this regard is the opposite. Almost doesn't matter what Galaxy model you have, you'll get consistent Android and OneUI updates for years to come.
