BlahBlah, 06 Dec 2022Dude... The only amazing thing is that you buy the phone wi... moreThey promised face unlock when releasing the devices last year, didn't happen. They promised it then a few updates later for atleast the pro, didn't happen. They then promised it to come in an update with the release of the 7 line, there's still no face unlock it seems. They also said the 6 pro could do 30w with the Google made 30w charger, find out its 23w and that's if your pixel will charge at those speeds (2 hours btw for a full charge on working pixels, mine took 4 hours to charge if it would charge at all).

They talked about how amazing magic eraser was, it didn't work when I used to try it except I think 1 picture which I had taken years ago (capturing your own on the phone wouldnt ever work). They also said the Google call assistant feature would fully work on all devices, was actually only USA residence that got full blown feature and it took an update for my phone to recieve the feature (was meant to be released with the phone).

I could keep going and I had done just over a month of constant research, daily, when I got mine, had been excited about the 6 series line since release (after specs and feature list was uncovered then officially released by google). I wouldn't own a pixel device ever again now.

Well done for assuming things though like them not knowing the device they buy, amazing assumption there. Maybe they just expect a working device like myself and don't put up with poor quality (I'll assume you're fine with that)... 10 points from me for you 👍.

ActualPixelUser, 06 Dec 2022This December update doesn't include only the feature ... moreThey never fixed anything when I owned the 6 pro, just because they say they are doesn't mean it's actually fixed anything.

They said they fixed bugs and performance issues on multiple updates I installed, I'd update then I'd have 4 new problems, 2 reoccurring problems and possibly actually 1 issue that might of been actually fixed, this was normal for the updates. It's why going "but they get updates 1st and regularly" means absolutely nothing when the quality of the updates are possibly the worst I've seen on a mobile phone

(I'm talking phone breaking issues, unless you want people unable to hear you on phone calls or your phones modem dropping connection to your WiFi every 2-5 mins or not connecting to already established bluetooth connections or even hard crashes opening YouTube or not being able to use wired headphones through type C dongle because Google said I had to be on the latest update, which I was, so was unable to use the headphones, or phone saying "it's charging" when put on charge yet actually isn't charging and is constantly discharging so you're left with a dead phone most days just to name a small few issues I went through that "updates" created.)

Where is 5G service update rollout for India?

Have a look of the whole list of bug fixes, stability improvements and small features added additionally to all of that. Not sure why GSM arena is hyping only the highlighted feature drops.

MihaiRo, 06 Dec 2022Where is the "magic" Face Unlock for Pixel 6 Pro?... moreDude... The only amazing thing is that you buy the phone without research about the phone you are interested in. And more interesting thing is that you talk s*it about Pixels, more specificly Pixel 6 series on every comment thread and it's always about some missing feature. Everybody's talking about software bugs but not a single mention about that from you. You just spit sarcasm with "fast" 23W charging or some stupid 2D unlock with a fricking selfie camera. Why did you buy the damn phone then?
You talk about specs but why didn't you read those specs before buying? So you can talk s*it about Google made by USA (again your words) right?
Well done! Here's a 10 points from me. Hope you have a great day..

                  People.. lol

Word "drop" is usually used when you actually remove or lose something.
Looking at their marketing images it looks like they are talking about dropping some features, which means there will be less features than before.

But turns out they are adding features by dropping them. oxymoron.

It would be nice if they just fixed their actual phones/other products (chrome cast, probably the pixel watch too) and software (gboard, YouTube, Google drive etc) and stop creating more bugs with each update tbh. My old pixel 6 pro barely worked as a phone with calls, WiFi, Bluetooth and charging issues (serious issues that affected daily use of the phone, new problems appeared with each update and old problems would re appear).

They drop features that A. Don't work unless you're in USA or maybe 1 other country, b. Just doesn't work like the magic eraser or C get way too overhyped like the call assistant feature on the 6 series. Oh and D. lie about bringing new features (is face unlock available yet on the 6 series like they promised over a year ago?)

Googles moto "if its broken, release it then break it some more"

Ok got it not seen any significant features, vpn got own independent so where is some great features??
Also last 3 months send 20 emails and chats with huawei watch 3 pro issue and they also not fix it. They just say nothing wrong on there side,
Strange pixel 6/pro with android 13 have no issue at all, Samsung with android 13 no issue either. Just pixel 7/pro has problem
Not talk huawei gt series they are fine but Watch 3/pro has issue on pixel 7/pro.
And is some new security software/patch whatever they call, they know it and they block in purpose without telling before you buy it.
Right now watch is useless when not working with pixel 7 series.
Really I like pixel 7 pro but this is is something I can't accept.

                          "Biggest Pixel feature drop yet"
Yet not a single useful feature (except maybe the free VPN for Pixel 7's owners).
I'd say it's about right for Google.
