Guys do not go by specifications, specs show many fancy things but only few things are included in Devices when a Handset comes out. Many features will be either blocked or not included in Handsets motherboard. Budgets devices will miss a lot of things, infact even in high end devices many things will not be included as that will increase cost of Device. So don't be happy with this specs. So always check when your buying Handsets. Even a simple like MIMO 4X4 is also not included in budget or some high end devices, but MIMO is infact supportable on all SOCs for years now. Its a Marketing strategy used to lure young customers to buy devices every year or few months.

A phone with 8+g1 is like 12w maxed out, you dont see any power consumption figures on any of the tech demoes of mtk right?

Maybe take the steamdeck as a standard, and you'll probably get a rough idea, its running actual games with rt at low res and low settings but the tech demoes of mtk arent like that.

On PC, in comparaison, ray accelerators aren't efficient and doesn't provide the best performances!
Plus 2200 is a pure mess in terme or sustained performances...
Samsung put AMD to save Exynos and the result accelerate...their end!

- doesn't reduce texturing and geometry performances when using Ray-tracing
- doesn't consume extra power when there's no ray-tracing.
Ray accelerators consumes extra power even when there's no ray-tracing as they are parts of shaders.
AMD with TSMC's 6nm is 25% behind NVIDIA with Samsung's 8 nm
Waiting for some ray-tracing benchmark, I'm not sure 2200 will perform better than 8100, especially on sustained performances

Considering that 4nm is just a fancy name for 5nm and the listed changes, the 8200 is pretty much a rebadged 8000 with a little more overclock than in 8100. Still a great competitor to Qualcomm's 700 series.
