Sin, 20 Dec 2022I just know my smartphone always got hot on changing and ha... morestill there are reports of problems with heat with fast changing
it is a know fact that it does shorten the lifespan of the device and it is still not healthy for a smartphone battery
Man this is tottal crap.
Owning Xiaomi Mi 11 lite 5G which came with 33W charger. But i suing 67W xiaomi charger. Having my phone for 18 months now and the battery is still at 92%. I am a heavy gamer when i have free time playing Clash of Lords 2 like 2 hours a day on average.
Charging my phone once a day sometimes twice a day and the battery is almost good as new. 92% is still perfect condition in 18 months with my use.
And planing to buy Redmi 12 note discovery if it comes global.
If no will wait for any other phone with 200 Mpix or more at least 50W charging and at least 128 or 256GB disk space. Rest i dont care that much.
Charging and discharging your battery or phone with slow 10-25W charger or using 120W or more have no difference impact on battery. Many sites and even theses GSMArena pages proven that the lifespan and health % is litterary same after a long time use.
Lastly time is money faster is better. sealed batteries litterary screved into your phone cant afloat like in old times when battery pushed avay your back i mean battery cover of your phone.
This was problem in past nowdays phones, charging, cables and batteries are on a tottaly different level.

Batteries and fast cha... moreI just know my smartphone always got hot on changing and has problems
I sure wish the YotaPhone 2 had a user replaceable but it don't
it's just has a high ifixit rating so battery change was possible without too much risk
still was a struggle but was done
back then it said it was was fast changing
didn't know that
so true fast changing as we know it today come out in 2017
Batteries and fast charging tech evolved in 2017
yeah the YotaPhone 2 is very old
battery's do seen too have gotten better over the years as well as bigger and improvements have been made too changing and so on
But we also improved the glow that holds the smartphone together and holds the battery down some very unwelcome bad changes
still there are reports of problems with heat with fast changing
it is a know fact that it does shorten the lifespan of the device and it is still not healthy for a smartphone battery
technology is improving but so many bad changes keep happening
i feel like am the only one speaking up about it and calling brands out

You cant be serious of what you said.
Buy a 2022 phone battery and charging tech is at tottaly another level and dimension from your Yota 2 which had removable battery.
I really dont undesrand how you can compare 2014 old tech phone with removable tiny 2500 mAh cell to a something with 4500 - 5000 or more mAh cell from new era with dash charging, fast charging, quick charge etc and USB-C foremost.

personal experience
The YotaPhone 2 gets very hot changing always overheating sometimes gets so hot and won't start up had problems with changing
I tried wiseless changing as well but it never worked well was unreliable and had problems
and damages battery also i think
in the end the battery swelled up and stopped working at all smartphone
was able too do a battery change at least
So the smartphone again works but i have too be careful when using the changer
but do have 2 of this smartphone the other one i never yet overheat and been more careful
so still has working battery today without even needing a battery replacement yet
lesson learned don't yet phone overheat
faster changing is unhealthily for your smartphone

George399, 12 Dec 2022Lol, you have a fake nostalkrap memory, there is imposible ... moreWell oukitel WP19 can.
probbably only smartphone which can last 4 days on heavy usage since it comes with 21 000 mAh cell and is rated 96 days on standby mode.
No other phone managed to do that.
Even watching a youtube video on a maximum brightness and set video playing to 4k takes little bit over 23 hours to deplete full charged battery.
No other phone does this and this is a midranger with 400 price tag so its pretty impressive.

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2022Idk why everyone is so obsessed with ridiculously high watt... moreMan since 2017 exist phones with 50W or faster charging and apart Apple and Samsung Note 7 noone had any issues.
Now pelase tell me why???
Many times been proven that even a 120W charger degrades battery equaly fast than a slow 15W charger.
The difference is close to zero.
Since times is money faster is better and i am particulary happy to have a phone which charges from 0 to 100% under 10 minutes and the charger have same impact on battery like Samsung 25W carger on a Samsung phone.

Bigger battery could last longer but all user dependable.
I.E. heavy gamer will charge twice a day and have no time to charge its phone for 3-4 hours or whole nght like in old times.

Oukitel WP19 have a stand by endurance rate of 96 days with ts 21 000 mAh cell and comes with charger fast enough to top up from zero its 21 000 mAh cell in 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Faster than flagship from Google, Sony, Samsung or Apple with 4-5 times smaller battery.
So you either have to buy something like Oukitel WP19 or at least WP15.
Or get an old Nokia 3310 which lasted 2 weeks ona charge.

This new fast changing tread manufacturers. Big tech industry and brands have us just as brain washed just as they like it
Faster changing just bad news if you're trying too get value for yours money
Just greedy the battery are none user removable and batterys just are too small and now will degrade at a faster rate as well

If some of us prefer the faster charging, then we have the option to use a phone with those charging speeds. For the others who want slow charging, they can always use a Samsung. The point is, we have the freedom to choose what we want.
