for several years of using the xiaomi brand, I realized one thing they create unfinished devices but compensate for this with a price, it was also in my mouse from xiaomi, which did not work with macros without a wire), miyuai with a bunch of bugs, a router that lagged with a budget white one that people massively sewed third-party firmware, that a fancy router that is controlled from mi home is essentially useless marketing, I’m silent about vpn and wifi sleep at all :) for these jambs there is a lower price because the company saves on programmers, I see this from their crooked software children’s bugs, glitches , truncated functionality and so on

Jack and SD slots are history is just waste of time expecting that.
Same thing about a 5 years of OS support bbecause you wont keep ypour phone for 5 years,
And even if you keep your phone for that long its internals will be too old for new apps, games and tricks.
Playing Diblo Immortal, Genshin Impact, Forge of Empires, Forza Motosport etc on a 5 years old phone will probably not run yor game at all or will lagg as hell.

And the importance of 3.5mm jack is exactly why we shouldn't dismiss phones without sd slot, because then our choice will really be very limited.

And here we come again with limited minds about the microSD. Do you know that having the slot doesn't force you to use it? Having it doesn't stop you to use your cloud services or anything else you may like? But the slot is there in case you need it. You have a CHOICE and you are not forced to use whatever crap manufacturer wants you to use. The same can be told about the audio jack, having one does not stop you to use your beloved TWS, but the jack is there for those who need it. Some people really like to be slaves and enjoy every crap all the corporations are throwing at them.

Do you need FM radio? You don't? Probably because you have internet everywhere you go.
I personaly like having FM radio antenna on my phone when I don't have internet.
Simple as that.
Just leave people the choice! Is that a notion so hard to understand?

One thing i'd like to say!
Companies should give the end user the choice.
For exemple, is it so expensive to implement sd card port?
If someone doesn't want to use it - fine! Where Is the problem? And if someone find it useful - fine again!
When you buy a car, do you use all the "gadgets" there are inside? Personaly I don't! Do I say they should remove it simple because I don't use it? No.
Some features/options can be important for some but unuseful for others.
Just let us have that choice! And everybody will be satisfied, won't we ?
