I actually believe that the plain S23 series will be an intreaguing offer to buyers on a fence, as the S23 DNA seems to far more resembling what iPhone users are used to and fine with. With SD processors available also in EU they are now a super mature product, and if SAMSUNG gets the pricing right, they can snap up those potential iPhone buyers which are offended by APPLE's absurd recent prices. Not all iPhone users fully embrace the ecosystem. And many of them have a sense of what real quality looks like.

I have an iPhone 13 pro max and a flip 3. I smile everytime I use my flip. It's just modern tech that works as well as it looks. I love keeping it folded and just paying for things so much quicker than iphone can. Battery is average but I love in the city so one day is enough before I'm near a charger.

I've tried my mom's iPhone 11 but it isn't cool for me. So I will stick with Android. After trying many brands and avoiding Samsung because of laggy TouchWiz I bought Samsung again. One UI is really amazing. My midrange A52 runs fine. No lag and great support with many updates. Will buy Samsung again. If lucky will go for flagship.

A SMARTphone has 3 processors: Application processor, Baseband processor and SIM processor. They all have their own operating systems, files hierarchy and code that runs independently. The Application processor is used for Android/iOS. The Baseband and SIM processors communicate with each other and send/receive data without telling anything to the Application processor if they are not instructed to. In order words, you will not see if your phone is sending/receiving data no matter how secure is iOS/Android.
The operating system that we use (iOS/Android) is just an ATTACHMENT feature to the real smartphone.

I have both, now on s22 ultra (personal) and IP12 (company). Out of the box s22 ultra speaker kind of shitty, okay for media and youtube but hopeless on loudspeaker calls and notification. And god knows what power saving methods they cooked up but i miss my notification during sleeping, even after some prioritisation. IP12 does have its limitation but notifications are prompt and the tone is clear enough

I already know 3 that all had iphones and did not want to pay for any upgrade anymore, while getting tired of the apple slowdowns, they just switched to cheaper android phones, nokia or samsung, one even turned to xiaomi now, not like i respect that, but yeah, people switsch and are ok with it.
