I look forward to this second gen DDR5, i'll be buying for sure. I just hope I'll be able to find a site that sells and specifies the specs.

anyway I want, 22 Dec 2022so, we need to buy or change samsung's memory? I have... moredepend with your device, if you have latest CPU from Intel or AMD with ddr5 support you need as fast as possible Ram because these Cpu do benefit from more bandwidth in both internal GPU and CPU. and it doesnt matter which dram you use, difference is small because there is standard made by JEDEC.

Are they gonna artificially increase the price on this too? Since they were so successful back in 2017/2018 as to still enjoy artificially inflated prices to this day

I have no tech knowledge about this, smart guys we need that 12nm? or just wait for sk hynix??

It's obvious that your little gray matter can't relate these in the right way. How embarrassing to be an iTroll like you.

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2022Someone surely scamming you with the name of amd engineer. ... moreLook at this genius screaming iTroll because that's all he can do while not understanding actual tech. Engineers name is Sam Naffziger, AMD's lead engineer. He explains in this GamersNexus interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XBFpjM6EIY how memory doesn't scale with smaller node size (even with nice graph). The cost increases significantly, but you gain almost nothing in terms of clocks or power efficiency. You can make 4nm memory dies that will cost a fortune per waffer, but won't really give you any real improvement. Only troll here is you.

SShock, 21 Dec 2022Lmao, are you going to start harping about TSMC again geniu... moreSomeone surely scamming you with the name of amd engineer. And it's surely easy on iTrolls like you. Shrinking the node size benefits memory chips even more than processing chips. Especially while regulating the diode voltage. Otherwise while carrying the charges a long tunnel will excel the potential barrier more. Hence charges will be leaked through the tunnel. You haven't learned your lesson, have you?

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2022Don't talk about things out of your knowledgeLmao, are you going to start harping about TSMC again genius? Memory modules behave different and do not benefit from node shrinkage. This is from actual engineers who work on chips. AMD engineer was literally explaining this like a week ago...

Probably because DRAM uses capacitors to hold electric charge and store information. Smaller processes may mean more challenges maintaining and controlling that charge.
