Any lead Samsung has is not this massive gap
From a technical standpoint the quality is close to it's competitors especially sky hynix
What I'll give the edge to Samsung is mass production capabilities

http... moreEveryday new storage come out, those are just 2 piece of ram it means nothing in wider scale of dram production. Micron, Hynx and Sammy these 3 together made majority of Dram and Samsung is leader among them.
About that video, ddr5 isnt mature yet 10 month ago he tested what we had in market, since then new memory have been anounced and market is moving real fast, just recently Samsung anounced 8.5gbps lpddr5x ram with theoretical speed of 136Gbps in 128bit bus.

Fab node doesn't matter much for memory. It doesn't scale any better with smaller nodes like cores do.
