A5x was already a premier option, both competed with each other in fact. They realized that. This is an attempt to diminish so many models. I would say that it is not such a bad decision, but on the other hand it leaves some questions because the A7x were manufactured with larger screens that became a feature apart and those who like this detail would already get these models. Plus, of course, bigger battery. The A54 was launched with smaller screen, battery too, there is no way to know if in the future Samsung will fit this into this series.

The Galaxy A54 has a worse camera and rather large frames, and it also has Samsung Exynos, it's not a very stable processor, even though it works on Samsung devices. The Poco F5 will be more powerful than the A73, but the POCO has IP53 when the A73 has IP67. And the POCO F5 is quite heated, but if you need power, and you are ready to put up with a bad MIUI in my opinion, as well as the problems described above, then you can take the POCO F5.

I wanted an a74 for a (probably) decently lower price than the s23 ultra/s23+ and I could have looked at an fe model of the s23 or s22 now I ether have to get a54 or a73 both of which aren't that great

I had a71 it was the best i miss t its screen techn was the best since i have eye light pro. Am using s22ultra bt i miss a71. Was waitg for A74 bt disppointed of the news

In fact, companies should continue Apple's policy of having 3 phone models with the same type of hardware every year.
And additional options such as more memory, different camera, screen size and so on.
Instead, they can update the operating system for 5-6 years instead of two versions
