Samsung Galaxy A74 reportedly won't exist, A7x series ended

They cant keep doing this, they ended the A90 series and now the A70 series, if they do this again and end the A50 series we will keep going down until the A10 series and it will be no good

They ruined the A7 line themselves and then discontinued it due to poor sales as if the market doesn't want mid-range large-sized phone. We do but a better one.
Since A71 there have been only marginal improvements at best.
CPU remained almost the same, getting only a 5% clock increase in A72 and again only slightly faster in A73.
Storage and RAM again no significant changes.
In the meantime it lost the 3.5mm audio jack which a lot of users liked and it gained high refresh rate screen, personally not important for me on a phone (gaming setup would be a different story) but i respect that some people value it.
Years went by but the phone didn't improve enough. No wonder sales plummeted.

Very disappointing for all the users of A7x series.
I was updating my phone yearly since A7. Series A5x is small screen for my needs. I must search for another brand now.

my advice for those who want a solid phone with software support go with A52s if it is available in your markets by far this is the most balanced A5x series sd778g is smooth you have 3.5mm audio stereo speakers ufs storage cameras are also good and el ip67 rating is handy really I litterally flushed my phone under running water after a coffee spill , the compromise is battery life and charge speed but at least you get a charger in the box

It's when you listen to FLAC or WAV that the difference is real, especially if you own LG flagship phones since they put Quad DAC audio in it. For all my daily TWS use during work and exercise, I only use my LG V60 for music. Even with my relatively cheap studio headphone, the difference is completely night and day. That is why I never believe wireless audio is the future as it can never replicate the DAC sound quality.

As an avid fan of huge screens, this is somewhat disappointing to me. I don:t expect something similar with the size in FE one.

By removing the FE and A7 series, Samsung is forcing them to buy S series phones, two duplicate models and one ultra model and ( all three are expensive!! )
Don't doubt that by 2024 this work of Samsung will face a heavy failure....

I recently upgraded to Galaxy A73 from A50.
I think A7x series is pretty solid mid range phones.
