They usually sell a lot more of the k series than their flagship Xiaomi number series. Basically, the k series has been more or less China only for the last 2/3 generations. It's a pretty successful series in China though so doubt they'll give it up. They have announced that they are giving up on the gaming version as they are now saying there is no need for a gaming phone but the camera ther 3 models will remain

                  Midranges with flagship SoC = failure (sell less than midranges with midranges SoCs and less than real flagships, reason one plus made phones better since 7 series).
