You need to be little more careful with the leaks you share. This leak was shared yesterday and by the time of your publication has been refuted by a couple of reliable leakers.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2023S23 8/256 is not gonna cost same of s22 8/128GB. Every three months Samsung made a free upgrade to 256 GB last year to dump S22. If the price increases, they can't dump S23. Why would the price increase?

Rosso, 02 Jan 2023Apple is literally selling SE with 64GB base storage when p... more2 things to be said about this
- Apple uses the fastest NVMe storage available, the phones you mentioned often use eMMC or UFS 2.0
- the iPhone 12 sells for $170 more and starts at 64GB as well
I do agree though that they should preferably drop the 64GB variants on those „cheaper“ phones by now.

Samsung will trick us.
They will increase price but they will also say "We raised the storage size" (storage is cheap for them).
So for me it is bad news, the Galaxy S price will increase.

and not everyone, change their phone every year. it's a good option for those who keep their phone for 3-4 years, more storage is good solution for this type of user.

100% BS
Maybe maybe the S23 Ultra will have 256GB base memory but the pedestrian S23's will have 128GB.
Many people are absolutely fine with 128GB and the 256GB option is not that more expensive @ Samsung.
Samsung is not mad.
Only S22U might have 256GB base storage.
Hilarious when one does a reality check on 'leaks' several months later. Many are horseshait

Diavolo , 02 Jan 2023If anyone can't afford a flagship smartphone that cost... moreI have flagship phone (well, it was the main device of its year) because it is better than midranges. But I do not need 512GB storage.
Even 64GB + micro sd is more than what I need.
Nothing wrong with pay to win games, but it is ridiculous, dumb and sign of sad life to have 50, 70 or 100GB of phone storage taken by games.
Staying at home with phone instead of doing outdoors activities, socializing, leaning new stuff.

Looking forward to getting a S23 if all the leaks are true. Is there usually a possibility to preorder it before the release?

Great move. In the future we'll be getting 512GB, then 1TB as base storage. Memory chips are getting cheaper every year, so at least phone companies should qput bigger storage in their phones, especially those flagships without SD card slot.
