alcatraz, 03 Jan 2023No phone is perfect, but the question is: Is it good enough... moreMan thats you. Foldables are like tablets but fold.
In case of tablet i can use good book case and a screen protector in case of folding phone most cases are useless and you cant use a screen protector and the repair is very expensive.
In case of tablets repair of screen is paybe 100-300 bucks brand dependable excluding apple and phones or tablets with curved screens.
In case of foldables price to fix broken scree is 1000+.
And once you remove that thin foil your device is dead.

Your problem is you were such lucky you did not break your screen to pay 1000 on repair.

Oh wow, such unbelievable tech... oh so cool.

So, did LG say "Welcome Samsung" through their social media yet?

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2023The point is to have the ability to put a big screen device... moreSince glass is glass and glass wil breaks there is no point making foldables because slabs always wins over foldables in terms of durability and usability.

            No Exynos, no buy.

Fold and slide, it could be even 10" in the pocket.
I just hope they upgrade foldable cameras to 1" soon, at least huawei could do it, if they could...

Would would be great to have is a expandable TV, the sides slide out a few cms each so that when watching a film there are no black bars top & bottom, so you get a full screen movie.

I consume tons of media so ~20:9 aspect ratios are useless to me. Maybe 3% of youtube is 2:1 and the rest is 16:9 plus some 4:3.

Every year we're still stuck in this 20:9 mess is me waiting and itching to get something new. Very soon I'll just buy ANYTHING that isn't 20:9. 😁

[deleted post]Should samsung test at 10W and outside device how many cycles battery can give and then claim magic number 800?

If samsung wanted to give 200W, obviously they would provide to their laptops first. Not phones.

FINALLY! A foldable with a decent screen aspect ratio. Give me something close to 16:9 unfolded please. Then I'll bite! I've been putting off a phone upgrade for 5 (!!!) years now.
