Mr. Anonymous, 03 Jan 2023The Core i9 13980HX has a 55 Watt base power rating and 157... moredid you see the charts and the hidden lithography of the CPU's? Neighter i see, so...no wonder why AMD make efficient and less power hungry CPU's cause they already use 7/5nm ones...intel are (i belive) is stuck at 10nm...thats why this Wattage on 13th series!

The Core i9 13980HX has a 55 Watt base power rating and 157 Watt max turbo power rating... A lot more than the Ryzen 9 6900HX and Apple M1/M2 SoCs.

They really need to improve their efficiency.
M1 pro offers great performance and battery life on MBP14", no Intel notebook can reach the same levels of perf/watt.

Can you undervolt them? Couldn't do that with most of the 12th gen.

Are they too afraid to call the U300 Pentium or Celeron? I think Pentium was a cool name.
