It doesn't damage your battery, and the lifespan is same as the industry standards like what Samsung or Apple provides or even better.

How about trying convince me why Scamsung's battery swell after few years? Or it happened only with the review and personal units of reviewers ONLY?
No other brand had reputation like S7 series, no other brand is famous for battery swelling issue like Scamsung.
Yet Scamsung has slowest charging ability and it's fanbois keep making others believe "it's safe when Scamsoong does it"

Why is there no option "I'm happy with my current phone"? Because I'm not trading my phone for yet another flagship without 3.5mm jack. They cut headphone jack, USB-C 3.1, wireless charging, gorilla glass (potentially), OIS... why is it called a flagship? Because it has the latest and greatest finger burning SoC? Thanks, I'll pass.
I'll be keeping my "oh noes it's not a flagship" A52s, thank you very much. For me, A52s is the best phone in recent years. 256gb variant with 8gb ram.

I'm looking for a replacement for my OP 7T Pro and this is a strong contender.
However, OP messed big time the usability of dual SIM phones when changing from OOS 11 to OOS 12. No reviews even mentioned that but it has been the biggest issue for me since.
If this kind of problems get solved with the new phone and it has decent camera, then I will switch to that. Otherwise it's ASUSes Zenphone 9 for me.

If it had wireless charging I'd seriously consider it. I use that a lot in my daily life so it's an essential feature for me. I understand that's not the case for everyone though and the rest of the spec sheet looks good! Would also want to see what the structural integrity was like seeing as the last couple of iterations weren't the best.

Nah, I'm good. I have an OnePlus 7T and while I really like it, my next phone will be an S23. I had enough adventures moving from beautiful and stable OOS10 to generic looking and buggy OOS11, then to even buggier OOS12 which is basically ColorOS from Oppo phones.
Modern OnePlus really ain't it.

So no matter how fast do they offer charging speeds in my next phone, I'll prefer slow charger. And there should also be an option present in settings to limit charging speeds

It's clear they are greedy and would like batteries to degrade quick as possible. That's why after every iOS update, the health falls a few figures, even without fast charging. They also raised the replacement costs which was already very very high. Don't trust anything apple does. They're greedy and that's it
