07 January 2023
The 11 is noticeably cheaper than the OnePlus 10 Pro was at launch - and it is cheaper than most Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones currently available.

You can't go high enough with wireless because of latency lag. Even when I use Wireless DeX on my S21, it really struggles to behave smoothly, and that's before talking about 30Hz limitations on certain Miracast-supported dongles and lapdocks.

I can talk about file transfer speed to PC and laptop, but that's another story for another day.

jiyen235, 08 Jan 2023Oneplus phones should be much cheaper than their chinese co... moreIt is cheaper than the most of the Chinese competitors with similar hardware. Basically almost the same price ($15) as a Redmi k60 pro which has a similar main sensor but an 8mp ultrawide and a 2mp macro compared to the 48mp imx581 ultrawide and the 32mp 2x zoom on the Oneplus 11. Sure it's not top flagship camera hardware but at the same price there isn't any new Chinese flagship with any better camera hardware

Everything about this phone seems great except for the curved screen. Too bad I already purchased the 10T, as my Oneplus 6 was practically on its last leg.

For me real downgrade is no charger in the box, no fast charger and fast charging tech and lack of many else.
This is something that everybody can live with.

Lastly 8k recording on a tiny phone camera is garbage.
It can have record even 32k videos on a 6 inch screen is complete crap.
Its like puting Buggati Chiron Motor into a WV Passat, Skoda, Peugeot or so.

I had a 1+ 7pro, excellent hardware specs, I wanted to like it. But the Camera was not great. And software updates were very slow. I am reluctant to buy OP 11 for these reasons.
There seems to be negative comments on the 11 screen, I am not sure why, if you know what the problem is with the E4 Amoled, please explain.

When Samsung brings in higher watt charging, it means the batteries can finally handle it but until then i'll stick with 25w, thank you very much

Oneplus phones should be much cheaper than their chinese competitors if they're going to axe the camera hardware this much. They rest of the phone NEEDS to stay up to par at the very least, in order to carry on whatever soul of oneplus is left

And not to mention the vanilla version is just 3700mah, and it gives you about 20h less standby(and obviously less in other parts in comparison to 5000mah). I would appreciate it if you could at least google whether fast charging ruins the battery or not. No one has the right to tell you what brand you should buy; it's your money. But spreading not accurate information about things they do not know is childish.
