The price increase of the standard Note is probably due to the Indian policy to scrap chinese phones below 12,000 INR.

I really hope that the dicovery edition will come to the global markets to europe.
Also xiaomi should sell in USA.
Untill now they have only Motorola as a cheaper options or maybe Blu brand.
Samsung and Apple as always are very costly and for price of a 1 phone brand like Xiaomi can sell 2 with equal specs.

One correction indian redmi note 12 has three camera on back.an 8mp ultrawide is added .they even went on to say in launch that india is getting three camera on back of redmi note 12 exclusively

The pricing quoted in the article for the Pro+ model is wrong. It is 29,999 for the 8/256 model and 32,999 for 12/256 model. The pricing of 25,999 and 28,999 are with initial discounts and some bank offers.

The Pro 8/256 is 28k whereas the Pro+ 8/256 is 26k. That's inconsistent pricing. Seems like they don't want people to buy the regular Pro.

Not Interested in any of them, Highly Overpriced phones, Note 12 should be around 12k and Note 12 Pro should be around 16-17k..

Nah. Overpriced. They have destroyed and ruined the legacy of Note series. Previous notes held the ground but this time it's done and dusted. Ofcourse people can buy them if they want but it's not a 15-18k INR series anymore. It has gone all the way to 30k which is just....nah, not acceptable.
