Never owned the OG iPhone that doesn't have the app store.
But managed to owned the iphone 4s, 5s, 5c, og SE, 6, 6s and then I just switch to android til now without any regrets.
Even though sometimes, I keep saying to myself to jump back to Apple camp but I never find a strong enough reason to switch.
Anyway, HBD iPhone !

Love it or hate it - 2007 iPhone was a revolution and the first of modern smartphone. The way the UI and multitouch worked was magical and unseen before.
I remember using the iPhone (2G) for the first time on a summer vacation. It blew my mind. I got one for myself right after I got home.

I never bought into the iphone hype, but I didn't need to be a customer to recognize how Apple changed their image in the eyes of the public. They were already on a roll with the ipod and itunes. The iphone really propelled their brand to a level that has been unmatched by anyone to date.

I liked Apple products as a kid, but didn't have much love for iPhones. For me it was the iPod Touch 2G. It was my first actual smart device and so the experience felt really fresh, had some very fun times with that thing. Still remember the old apps and games I used to have that are now gone. Then I upgraded to the 4th gen and had fun playing around with cydia tweaks.

iPhone 6s was my favorite. No compromises or any lack of features. Perfectly square display with no curves so I can calculate how many pixels are in the panel by solving for L x W, 3D touch, and headphone jack. If I didn't want a headphone jack, iPhone 8. If I don't want 3D touch then I would choose the iPhone SE 2022. See the pattern here? Increase the specs while removing features. Now you have the iPhone 14. In the USA, there is no SIM tray.

The first iPhone i ever owned was the 5s
I was dead set on getting the Galaxy S4 as my very first smartphone until i saw the 5s at the store and i was blown away by it
So it was decided, i got the 5s
In 2016 i upgraded to the 6s and in 2019 i got the 8 which i'm still using to this day although i'll be upgrading this year when the iPhone 15 comes out
I'm very satisfied with ios and don't see myself ever jumping to Android although if there's one thing that caught my attention was the Galaxy S20/21/22 ultra zoom, especially since i live high up in a building, i could have fun with that for hours...

I consider silver X/XS/11 Pro an A-Tier. The notch makes them look worse. I'm not a fan of the flat sides that came from the 12/13/14 models. It was fine with the 4 and 5 because they were smaller and lighter. The most comfortable iPhones without a case to hold are actually the OG/3G/3GS.
The 7 is underrated. It did not have a jack but I always thought the matte black 7 looked just as sleek as the 5 series. The 7 was the last to offer a metal back but was also the last NOT to have wireless charging. I do prefer the rounded sides that the 6/6S/7/8/SE2/SE3/X/XS/11 have.
OG: Only design of its kind.
4S: Best of the 4 design.
SE1: Best of the 5 design.
7 (matte black): Best of the 6 design.
SE3: Best of the 8 design.
X: Special anniversary iPhone.
13 mini: Best size of the 12/13/14 design.

I don't have a 13 mini yet but I'll eventually get one. Will wait when someone sells it for under $150 on OfferUp since it was a sales flop like the 12 mini. I didn't care for my 12 mini because it was bad timing. We still had to wear masks in 2021.
My next iPhone to upgrade to? iPhone XX (2028?). Or will they skip 19 like they did to 9 in 2017 and have an iPhone 20 in 2027? But a Doogee V Max eliminates my need for any other phone if it can offer me 6+ days between charges. Gamechanger.
