I don't like Samsung at all, it is ugly, yes, but it's so relative, it has cheap plastic build, but it is more than enough to survive until you change it with the next model, it has software problems but it releases updates more often than everyone else, it doesn't bring real innovations, but it offers most of them for less than others, they say Samsung is a copycat, but, who cares? Competitors of course, but not us consumers. Samsung doesn't have the prestige of Nokia, Bb, Apple or Sony, but facts tell it's the best needs filler of the moment in the world. So congratulations!

It's even slimmer and thinner and lighter than the htc One which only has a 4.7" screen. And you obviously don't know a thing about polycarbonate, don't you? You, and many others saying it's cheap plastic. The facts are, it's 300 times tougher than plastic. It's premium alright. It's the material they use to make bullet proof car windows, and even the pilot canopy of the f22 Raptor jets. It even has a higher hardness scale and higher impact resistance than kevlar fiber. So now you know. That's another example of how looks can be deceiving.

what you can't have for plastic toy like S3 and S4 is the real innovations not some copycat feature but i think they have one with their octopussy processor

[deleted post]Actually a metal version of sgs4 was put forwarded by the engineers,but for reasons unknown it didn't get through the 1st round.
Its like the company officials never had a liking towards the metallic casings for their phone.

when new samsung and iphone devices is out they flood the news with their ads
it just another plastic toy from samsung with same design and they copying nokia, lg, htc, and sony innovations, change the name and add little feature
when samsung copying floating touch technology on Note 2 and S4,
sony use new real tech innovations like OptiContrast Panels and sensor-on-lens touch
screen technology
dear gsmarena please give us much more useful news than this plastic toy

Im currently using sgs2 n love it capabilities.. Love the feature n screen on S4 and S4 design it not bad like other comment, but Now im gonna try something different to buy sony xperia z since i love going to sea, beach and freedivng.. i may need some extra protection for my phone if gonna get wet in boat. And the sony design is so good.

But please come back and tell me if you find the smartstay or smartscroll or splitscreen multi-window. Or maybe you could find the airview feature where you could preview the contents of the phone and even videos without even touching the phone. Goodluck with that.

and fyki more then50% demand is fake.... Has anybody checked how much samsung spent for advt and promotion?????? Hahaha it spent a big share of moolah, vhat nokia spent on its R n D. . I dunno how many fake samsungsters are here and in this website.....the data is modified and compromised. Had n s3 and there was nthng spectaculr bout it....sold it and now i will either buy a xperia z or htc one god knows myt even consider a nokia if it offers smthng new and innovative..... Iam nt a android hater or nokia hater, a company which innovates need appreciation....here inthis case sammy fails again.....whats the use if it is replacing note2 vid its display and screen size......and the touch wiz just sucks.....beleive me it makes ur phone lag.....

I think Samsung played it safe here, trying to build on the strength of the S3, whereas the hype and expectation of the world probably necessitated a revolutionary-looking device. Not too many people care for the innards or the hightes techical specs. To many, a 1.5 quad-core is just as good as the S4 processor. They probably would ot know the difference or notice it.
However, I must give credit where credit is due. The software facelift is truly impressive.
I am a mobile freak myself and I admit I am immensely turned on by the new HTC One. The Xperia Z somehow looks updated. IP ratings do not give it the edge, I believe.

Attention samsung! I have been using note 2 for 2 months,i wonder why your screen is shadowing in google chrome when used for couple minutes but while using THE BROWSER the screen is flawless for continous hour. My friends who have the notes are facing the same problem.Please check out the problem as i really like your product

funny enough it's mainy d people in this forum that don't like samsung phones.the people in the real world do.ironically the people in this forum are very few numbering into a few hundreds but the people in the real world number into some cool billions. so who cares what d people here have to say.the people in the real world have the final say.so save your breathe as to whether a phone is good or not
