11 January 2023
It is said to be lighter than a Dell XPS 15 and an Apple MacBook Pro. There should be new Pro and Pro 360 models as well.

The 15" Galaxy Book flex is only 3.35lbs. That's already better than both comparables in the article, and it's several years old.

Had HP so called gaming laptop it lasted from 2008 up to 2016 roughly 6 years and died.
My cooling for graphic card litterary turned into a crispy potato chips from Lays brand.
They told me to fix that i have to pay 400 euros i refused so i bought new laptop.
Back in 2014 april i bought Asus for 1022 euros another gaming laptop with 8GB of ram at that time 4GB graphic card but clasic disk no SSD. But lasted 7 years and now my best friend using it for work so still in great condition.
21 September 2021 bought Lenovo Legion with Ryzen 7 5600 CPU Nvidia GeForce 3070 RTX with 8GB and a 32GB ram. 16 inch laptop capable of 4K and many else things and now with 1TB SSD. Paid 1790 euros and working like a charm.
Most games i run on max details with no issue. Best thing is it takes litterary less than 5 seconds from pressing powerbutton to run my windows 11.

Russel, 12 Jan 2023I though Acer Swift edge holds the record for the lightest ... moreIt's actually the lightest 16 inch 4K OLED laptop, not the lightest laptop ever. The Gram UltraSlim is the lightest 15 inch laptop currently, and that has a 1080p OLED display

Interested in the new Samsung Ultra laptop coming out this year. Hopefully it has a mini LED option or at least a OLED option with minimum 500 nits and updated CPU and RAM. Contrary to what the OP write I don't care if it's slightly heavier than the junky LG Gram.

There is no solution for HEATING ISSUE. Even if its a slimmer laptop, IT WILL HEAT A LOT. Just like last Galaxy Books

Apple doesn't know how to make light laptop. Don't make it sounds like Apple is light at all with phrase "even the Macbook Pro", as if they are near competitive in weight or they are champion in the light weight cat.

I just bought a Asus Zen book OLED 14" at 1.39kg. I have an older LG gram 17" at just 1.3kg.

You don't know what is light, until you held a 13" laptop that weighs 1.0kg with 3 USB ports and a dedicated power port.

Knowing Samsung, it will most possibly be an ultra premium laptop that has top notch quality. I can bet they will yet again skimp out on graphics capabilities yet again though.
