I don't expect more from you, though. Anyway, you don't need to infringe patents if you want to use patented technology in your products. You will be able to do that by paying patent licensing royalty fees. Have you ever seen movies in your life? Do you think how movies feature licensed music?

They were planning to steal their work from the beginning. Just that it's now proven in court

Huh!, Good for them. because of their utmost desire to equal if not surpass Samsung, that is why they are stealing trade secrets and or patents from other companies to show off that they are as good as Samsung.

You need to actually do research on the patents available on the IPO before implementing a certain feature or innovation to ensure uniqueness. There is no excuse for companies like Apple to claim accidental infringement of copyrights or patents, for there is no such thing.

In the case of finding a patent that is highly similar to the planned feature, either pay royalties or dump that feature.

That's the corporate world. But somehow US corporations always get less flak doing this. Must be media influence.

Love how everyone blame Apple no matter what. Wether they are the one sueing other companies or they are the one getting sued. Double standard at its finest.

Not to defend Apple at all, but it is super naïve to only blame Apple here, the whole market is a mess FYI.

This is literally a boring corporate every day. And if you all think literally everyone is not doing this, then you're all even more blind. It's just that everyone cares so much when Apple does it and it's plastered all over the news, meanwhile bunch of others never get the headlines, but they do it just the same. Besides, it's a miracle to not infringe some stupid patent these days when there are millions of them for every basic thing. It's almost impossible to launch a product without infringing something, even if you developed your product entirely from scratch using own R&D entirely.
