T-Mobile in talks to acquire Ryan Reynolds' Mint Mobile

Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile are one of the same. Their service is terrible. They keep making excuses about the Tower saying that's the problem customers are having with their phone problems and proper service is the Tower. Other phone Carriers don't have this problem and customers say they live in the same surrounding areas and get great phone service all the time. To fix the problem. Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile will have you turn off your phone take out the sims card and reboot phone so you can use your phone. Seriously. I think its time to move on with another phone carrier.

I've had Mint for two months now. Service & price are excellent, BUT the outgoing caller ID shows a woman's name who must have had this number previously. TWO different Mint CSRs have been unable to change this. One even said they CAN'T put my name on the outgoing caller ID. Very frustrating since I use this number for outgoing business calls.

I used Mint Mobile for many years. If you aren't continuously on your phone, it is a pretty good deal. It is structured so that you (more or less) pay only for what you use. I say more or less because there are several bin sizes and it automatically adjusts your bin up or down as need to make it most closely match what you actually used.
The only reason I quit is because T-Mobile's old fogie plan is an even better deal if there are two of you -- $60/month unlimited for 2 lines, restricted to 50 and older.

I started using mint mobile about 3 months ago and I absolutely love everything about it, the branding, The pricing, and how it seems like a company that actually cares about its customers which is getting more and more rare to find. I really really hope it doesn't merge, please men mobile

Mint mobile actually supported alot of phones T-Mobile abandoned. People would be forced to purchase new phones in the U.S if they get acquired.

I was with Metro PCS since it first started. Then several years ago T Mobile took them over. The service went completely downhill in all aspects of it. I finally had enough of it. Month ago I switched to Mint the customer service is exemplary. I couldn't believe the difference. Also the coverage is better and the price is awesome for what all you get. As soon as Metro got bought out the price went up for less also. Please don't sell! The big corporate monopoly needs to stop it's ruining every good thing that they get hands on.

Don't sell. This only means T-Mobile is getting scared. Their customers are leaving them by the thousands to switch to mint mobile. Give it time Ryan and mint will be bigger then they are. Screw these big box companies. Don't be a sell out to them or you will lose all the respect you deserve. Bury these guys in their greed. I left T-Mobile to switch to mint and will NEVER go back. I tell EVERYONE that will listen to do the same.

Just look on T-Mobile plans. Jesus you Americans get ripped off 60 USd for 50Gb plan AND the hotspot is on 3G speeds wtf . A 14 pro with a 100GB plan in UK cost £70

That would suck. I just started on Mint 3 months ago. There was a problem losing cell internet a couple days after restart on my Pixel 5a but that has been fixed. Overall I now like the service. But you do have to pay for your service in advance to get a decent price.
I does kind of suck in the US how big competitors can buy out smaller companies to eliminate the competition. Also like Jet Blue buying out Spirit. The Justice Dept or FTC are supposed to stop those types of anti-competitive deals but they hardly ever do anything.

Not sure how much they listen to complaints. And I don't think they do anything until the deal is announced.
