Yet another garbage Intel KS release. You pay more, for what? Better binning? Their xx900K line is already binned heavily and overclocking is pretty much pointless for those chips. Literally just another overpriced chip for those "enthusiast" living in the past and for Intel to gain a tiny bit of attention. God I am excited for the new 3D-Cache chips, unlike P- and E-Cores, it seems to actually be futureproof.

yeah and also doubles as a space heater ... nice !

Intel in other words: give me 699 dollars, because it hits 6.0ghz for few seconds sometimes 🤣

Russel, 13 Jan 2023You can't really blame amd for Microsoft's fuckup... moreWhat ms fuckups? Lol. Windows pulls out same patches for all. It's not their problems if AMD's cpu aren't optimized good. And ms are only one of problem. Amd is dealing with way more issues than just ms. And about security vulnerabilities, amd had have enough worse case of cpu malwares and spectrums.

And don't even bother to relate igpu for Hardware troubleshooting with dgpu. Those are different in nature in the first place. Doesn't Intel's arc line up is the complete new architecture even compared to Intel xe igpu.

And no one is shilling here. I'm teaching some who doesn't know sh*t

                Intel Core i9-13900KS
great gaming cpu but not good enough for rtx 4090

wondering how long it will take till we get are 10GHz cpu
we live in a would where the gpu so powerful that the best cpu can bottleneck the best gpu even at 4k

gaming is a expensive hobby especially when this kinda hardware still can't even get 4k 120 fps for high end monitor match in the latest aaa games

am upset there are games out there that exist that even dream hardware will struggle too run smoothly well makes no sense too make a game that even ott hardware can't handle and no one other then the rich can afford

Anonymous , 13 Jan 2023Just got another noob to teach. Who talked about performanc... moreYou can't really blame amd for Microsoft's fuckups.
There are multiple times intel users as there are amd users when it comes to windows and Microsoft favours intel. So their problems get patched first.
Now about REAL issues that doesn't depend on OS?
Intel has upto 3 times more security vulnerabilities than amd and nvidia combined.
Intel's graphics drivers have been a mess for ages, they only entered dgpu space recently, but they have had igpus for ages.
They forced the world to a tech stagnancy with their quad-core i7 era, but now are trying to fool the customers with fake cores. Bulldozer got a lawsuit, but Intel is somehow evading that.

Stop shilling for companies. Whether it's intel or amd or nvidia, they're here to do business, but the worst among them is undoubtedly intel. If theirs one thing they do right, that would be promoting radically new designs of laptops when they collaborate with OEMs.

Using Ryzen 7 5800k on my Lenovo Legion series laptop bought year ago paired with 32GB ram and Nvidia Geforce 3080 8GB 16inch laptop capable of 4K cost me 1800 and works perfectly fine on heavy gaming with all detail set to max.
On game like doom eternal ui have little over 200 FPS.

Now you need only some uber powerplant to power this kind of CPU.
Something like Three Gorges Dam in China with 22500 MW capacity which generates about 111,8 TWh. This would and should be sufficient.

Useless..for most top end hardware, GPU's, CPU's, desktop, laptop or mobile, thermal throttling and exaggerated prices a standard. On the paper it's all superb but in real life, no one needs 6 GHz from the CPU nor will it be achieved for more than a few minutes before throttling. Good for winter season to heat the house though while using it.

LazyEngineer, 13 Jan 2023Lol these comments shows your lack of knowledge of pcmr... ... moreJust got another noob to teach. Who talked about performance here trollkid? Obviously bugs and issues are found to be fixed. But the point was the amount of bugs and problem amd deals with compared to others. Who is talking about old problems, the new 7000 series has issues for gaming on windows 11 22h2, they just recently fixed ftpm shuttering issues, they had to deal with tpm issues and so on.

And you really came up with thread scheduling problems? What can be expected from a deadhead amd fannoob. The apple fanboys of pc mr.

Calling e cores fake just showed your ignorance.

AMD is constantly finding new innovative ways to improve performance, first it was chiplet design for CPU's, then they used 3D V-cache to boost gaming performance, InfinityCache to boost GPU performance or how they standardized ResizableBAR and suddenly everyone started using it where before no one seemed to care about it even though it existed as a feature for ages.

And Intel is like "MOAR CLOCK". Sure, it gets the job done through brute force, but the power consumption and heat is just absolutely horrendous. AMD's cache approach is a really smart way which makes last gen part 5800X3D competing against latest gen CPU's. It's that good. And makes power draw laughably low in return. I expect the same from Ryzen 7000X3D generation, especially compared to this KS furnace model.
