Lanterns, 16 Jan 2023I am very agree with this, the UI is so heavy, thoughExactly it is. Nothing aganst Samsung but if i would be in charge of Samsung company my lowest specced device would start with 6 GB real ram plus 6GB virtual ram and a 128GB disk space to run anything smoothly and at least SD695 and above. Niothing less othervise phone will struggling like hell to run properly.

But a Samsung UI cost 6+GB disk space and 2+GB ram.
Nothing UI, Motorola UI, Oxygen OS, Color OS, Huawei UI, Realme UI even Miui dont cost 2GB ram ad 6GB disk space they are half from that in case of Oxygen OS ,Motorola UI and Nothing UI they are like stock android.
Samsung uses heaviest skin of all.
Heaviest and most burden in other words most useless too because most of Samsung phones havent enough power to run any else apps because there is lack of disk space and ram.

The A14 runs Android 13 with One UI 5 Core on top, a version of Samsung's skin intended for lower-end devices, which foregoes some of the features in order to not slow everything down.

Waterdrop notch, thick bezels and the same crap pill design camera so boring have Samsung not paying there R&D enough or something gone very stale on designs.

You won't miss a chance to hit Samsung, right. But honestly, 4GB is generally not exactly enough today, I doubt you'd buy it yourself in fact. 6GB works great on my phone, One UI RAM management is good.
Even though they say UI is lighter, better not buy 4GB Samsung or any phone if possible in 2023 peoples.

Takes 6GB of disk space even on A0X phone and a 2GB ram which makes A0X phone good for trash bin. Same goes for many else samsung phones with up to 4GB ram and 64GB disk space.

One ui is heavy AF, and a phone with weak chipset like this will only get slower after getting Android 14 and further updates, as shown by the A13 slowing after getting A13.

no offense but this phone just sucks for 200 usd. however, you have to consider that the american market just lacks good budget options. considering you can get phones in that price range with helio g35 chipsets, the a14 is kind of a good phone in comparison

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2023No 8mp ultrawide wtf ! A big no to this phone What do you expect? It's a 5g phone with a 1080p lcd panel that has a 90hz adaptive refresh rate. The main shooter is 50mp.
That's a great deal for a unlocked variant. I have the a13 5g as a backup to my s22 ultra. It's actually a ok experience.
