DaFink, 14 Jan 2023What an unusual way of phrasing that, maybe not surprising ... moreSomething like that does not just happen. That was bad enginiering together with low quality batteries and lack of proper testing = rushed release, greed? Maybe, but i think there is more hidden behing half backed releases, a thing that rarerly happend in the past but is a norm this days...as we can all see with other brands, especially with apple, as they were the "it just works" brand, well for the typical die hard fans of course, but are not so much rrally. The device had more problems, like camera buzzing issue, this beeing just another one of them... This could be an issue of overcklocking the screen, and the fix would be to lower the high brightness niveau via software, so yeah, the guy's claim is quite plausible.

Pay $1500 and pay quality like this. You get what you pay, right?

No, it's a feature - art display during startup

That's the way the old Apple worked. The old Apple did have bugs, but their Genius support was very accommodating. They even often gave free replacements and services to Apple users. That's why people talked highly of Apple support.

That changed since Jobs passing. Under Cook, Apple forced the Genius division to make a profit. So when bad things happen to customers, instead of taking care of them, Apple Genius started charging ridiculous amount of money for repairs and support. This also to push people to buy Apple Care. All in the name of profit. The greed is limitless now with Apple. I mean they even need class action lawsuits like the butterfly keyboard for them to properly compensate paying customers.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2023"It just works" is how Apple got popular. Nowaday... moreExactly

That stuff was never true for the iPhones in the first place, what was their selling point was their smooth, polished software but even most Android smartphones are just as good

Except for the software support which Apple is still leading

I had similar problem with iPhone 13 pro max and it when completely green. I wrote to apple but they never reply me

AnonD-762416, 14 Jan 2023That is what you get when you factory overclock a display, ... moreWhat an unusual way of phrasing that, maybe not surprising though given how you fetishize Samsung.

This is a bug dude, one they have acknowledged and agreed to fix. Bugs, defects, they happen. You know like when Samsung released a smartphone that could serve double duty as a hand grenade, yeah they happen.

That's why I always buy a Samsung. No any issues for me. Next time will buy a flagship and I'm sure it will rock. Proof is that even my midrange A52 runs super.
